Okay, basically I'm gonna rant, and give a decent enough "Review" for this game, okay so first of all the installation process in the most infuriating thing since learning to win in Street Fighter. so first you have to install "STEAM" and once youve done that, you have to activate a load of codes and stuff to "Download" the game, I mean what happened to installing from the disk like the good ol' days, when youve finally done that you have about a 3 hour wait time before the game is downloaded, when thats done you finally get to play, what makes it even more infuriating is the high specs of this game, if you can run the game to its normal standard without lag then you're in for one hell of a game, but if you can't its baaaaaad.... so You start off with two kinds of campaigns,
"Grand Campaign" which is basically choosing an Empire; E.g the British or the Russians, this game is based in the 18th century, which is good, musketmen and stuff really good for strategy fans, the other campaign is the Road to Independance, which is pretty much an all USA campaign on their road to Independance from Britain, so the way the game is played is amazing, its really "user-friendly" easy to move the units, you can change the rank of the units the way they move in rank, whether theyre a longer line or bigger in depth its a really really good game if you can run it properly, there is also the introduction to "Real-Time Sea Battles" which is really good, you can control the fleets you make and send them out to battle the vast amounts of pirates that roam the seas or the other Empires that you're at war with, at first Sea battles seem quite complicated because its quite diffrent to the normal land-battling that people have gotten used to. there is also multiplayer mode, where you can play against others in Land or Sea battles, and I havent checked but I'm pretty sure their is an Online version of the "Grand-Campaign"
all in all I would say once you get past the bad parts this game is amazing, definately a 10/10 in my opinion
