please insert original dvd

hello, i bought resident evil 4 today and started to play.

then i made a mistake to throw my gun away so i want to restart the game.

now he says that i have a copy in my drive, but i have the original dvd .

can someone help me please

Um... have you tried to remove/uninstall your game? Have you installed official EU 1.10 patch?

If you throw away your weapon, you can pick it up just like ammunition or herbs, I don't see a point of restarting the game. Second thing, if throwing away your gun was so big problem, you could exit to main manu and start from the beginning.
