I would have thought it would have sold more.
Brilliant film.
I think Resi 4 helped to boost those figures, even if the newer fans never played the older games.
I didnt think it would have sold that many, but thats just because Ive guessed wrong :p
Its still not bad though, considering it had a theatrical run in Asia. Hopefully it did well enough for Capcom to greenlight a sequel.

Not seen the film yet. Havent heard too many great things about it, but Im tempted to buy it on DVD. Anyone here recommend it?
I dont like leon that much, though. Claire is hot (excuse my inner fanboy):p
They should make one about Nemisis and his love for Jill :lol:

Anyhow, 1.5 is above average on sales. At least it didnt sell as much as the first RE movie. The Dark Knight is projected to sell around 6-7 million copies, so its not that much concern to lament (its not like it sold 100k or something).

leon is gay and he was only created as eye candy for the fan-girls.
They should make a movie with all the girls from the series (minus ashley from RE 4) in swim suits, running around on the beach with Nemisis chasing them. :]

If you are a re fan you should like it. There are many nostalgic moments. Its definitely worth it.

I think that done extremly well, 1.5 million is easy enough to comfirm there will be a sequel with that much success, and this is good news to hear :)
