Why do people feel the need to hack games to cheat?

Ive just watched my girlfriend be beaten by someone clearly cheating on Mario Kart on the wii. This person has access to every item at any time and basically played in a unfair way not really trying to race. The event has spoilt what is usually a good and fun game. The only plus side is even though the hacker eventually won they lost over 2000 points.

What was the point of it? things like this annoy me not to mention it ruins things for other players.

Anyone else experience incidents online with mario kart?

I havent seen this with Mario Kart, but Tetris DS hackers really annoy me. They use this cheat, so that they always get the light blue, straight pieces, which makes it possible to make a tetris in every couple of seconds. It was funny when I beat one of the cheaters though :)

It was someone called 35555TEM or something like that, I knew they was dodgy when they appeared on the racer list with a score of 35555

It sad when people have to resort to online cheating, it only proves one thing which is they are rubbish and cant take loosing.

I hate cheaters, what gives them the right to ruin everyone elses experience?


I play COD5 for PS3, and I do hate the guys who explore glitches such as going under the map, use lag switches, etc... The only thing that makes me laugh of them is knowing that theyre cheating because if they would play fairly they would lose :)

this isnt really cheating but it really really really pissed me off, is people who turn off a game when they are loosing so it doesnt affect their score

I was playing the starfox game on ds, now i have always played starfox games and for some unknown reason i have a godlike talent at the game (seriously im not gloating but im really really good at multiplayer on this game for some reason)

I played online and was winning every battle, every single one, and each time the other person turned off the ds now because of the connetion falure I was rewarded with a negative ratio where as the person who turned off the game was rewarded with no change in ratio

I eventually got 1 win by waiting until 10 seconds left before I killed someone but I was so upset that I couldt play a game i loved online because of people who cant take loosing that I have never played the game since

that cant help people in mario kart online as disconectting loses you points, even when it happens accidentaly (I was first and i lost the connection and lost 200 odd points) more annoying is when Id won a race finishing 1st and the game got disconnected waiting for the others and I still lost 200 odd points

Lol u r mad about cheating on Mario Kart .... it is indeed, but the Metal Gear Online glitchers r far worse. Glitching to get invisible n then killing the enemy team is the worst i ever encountered on a game, ruining the fun, especially if this person isnt gettin kicked outta the host.

You havent seen cheating until youve seen a guy with an M60 on Crash with an aimbot and 50 people on the server. Its incredible. But the cheats and exploit that enable you to crash servers are the worst.
