Dark Void doesn´t save check points.

Greetings for everybody: I have bought the Dark Void for PC and I have a problem with it: the game doens´t save the check points. I play for a while, and then, I retire the disk of the game. I return to play it again, but the game has not saved nothing at all. I must play a new game, always in the same way.
Is it possible, in one of the folders of the game changing some instruction for working the checkpoints?

The best thing to do is email Capcom Tech support as I am not sure what the problem could be.
