View Full Version : A New Scary Resident evil.
Hello, i have an idee of a new scary Resident evil game.. my idee is that it will be a First person shooter, and its a Remake of Resident evil 1 but in First person shooter, it doesnt need to be exacly as Resident evil 1 are now but even More scary, and that you can only Kill the Zombies by shooting them in the Head, or ells they will just fall on the floor and rise up again.. i had a Dream about this game, and it was really really Scary :S.. First person shooter, blood on the walls, Scary zombies that can only die by shoting them in the head.. and scary thunder sounds.. well this is my idee of a new Scary Resident evil game that would be great to release on PC/PS3.

Good idea, but it's very brief. Can you describe your dream more accurately, that would be interesting.
I have reached the conclusion that we will never be able to play a game like the Original resident evil games again. And lack of ideas is not the problem. Tough RE DC is similar to your idea, give it a try.
There will be a resident evil psp release which is shrouded in mystery, and all they said was it will be unique

well i dont know really how i should describe my dream.. but what i saw in my dream was that im playing a Resident evil game. and i had the feeling i was in the game for real ^^.. anyway, the game starts that its 3x people running from something. i didnt cleary see what it was, but then we enter a giant Hotell, it is very Dark in there. the screen turns black and i only hear Screams.. after some secounds i woke up in a dark hall with a window open with scary Thunder sounds.. (here i gets the controll of the Character). i see my character im playing in First Person mode, i have only Fists at the start.. after i walk forward abit i see a Mirror on the Wall, and what i saw i was not a orginal character from the other resident evil games like Chris redfield etc.. i was a Man with a green shirt and i had a Camera around my Neck, can say i maybe was a Tourist or something :P. but after the mirror part i continue walking down the Hall, and the Thunder still makeing scary sounds and its flashing aswell, and i saw some blood from hands on the walls. and at the end of the Hall i see dubble doors, when i walk to them i hear something moveing behind me.. when i turn around its a Zombie walking forward and trying to eat me.. then beside me its a dead body with a gun beside him.. i run to take it up, and as i didnt know where to shot the zombie i was shoting some on the body.. but nothing happend, so after 1 -3 shots in the head he died.. and i woke up from my Dream :P... well thats all i have to tell about my dream.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicls,
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles...
All have elements of what you described, and several are surprisingly underrated, I certainly hope that the survivor games get another chance at some point, since there's the Wand for PS3, Natal for Xbox360 and obviously the Wii has motion controls, all of which would be suitable for first person gameplay.
Also, interestingly, Resident Evil 1 (not the remake) was intended to be an FPS at one point. I think people are primarily put off by FPS's since they naturally tend to be more combat oriented, fortunately, times have changed, and there are plenty of FPS's that have action as a second basis, Mirrors Edge for example.
I must admit that your idea certainly is an interesting one, but needs a bit more growth to sound appealing. :P

i have now been working on a brand new version of resident evil for 3 months solid im a massive resi fan and have been since the original and its taken me a while to come up with something that the fans and myself would enjoy the thing is how do i get these ideas to capcom? if anyone would like to no more plz let me no so far i have two chapters complete 16 brand new enemys some new weapons including a handgun called the wasp its a single shot weapon which when fully upgraded becomes a lot of fun to play with the thing with this resident evil is the new characters the main stars are of course your primary characters two original zombie killers members of the new s.e.t stars elite team this instalment takes place half way through resident evil 5 with a new villian new locations new gameplay and all new bonus material if u want to no more just let me no thanks

There are people from Capcom that visit these forums frequently, so your cries will certainly be heard. I think it's better to place these in a new thread, because this thread is about the dream/ideas of Cliffhoof. Please don't forget to use punctuation and keep up the good work, I certainly want to know more about your project. ;)

i played survivor and the mini game on code veronica in first person but i

That's what I think too. It kind of takes away the Resident Evil feeling. Dead Aim was a step in the direction of the new camera style that we experience in RE4 & 5, but I think making it fully first person would turn away from the survival horror genre.
