Is everyone finding it hard to stay away from spoilers for RE 5? I am, thats for sure. Not that I do it on purpose but its just so flipping hard :mad:
I just looked on a website and looked at an image from a review of a never before seen enemy...was nothing too OMG, I spoiled the game, but...yeah its something you dont want to ruin, so Im glad I didnt look at the image that says boss. :o

It would be best to stay away from Youtube, as we all know the ending will be leaked in a matter of weeks. I dont mind looking at endings for other games that I wont play --MGS4 as an example-- but with RE 5...I want to see it for myself.
I know there was a leaked enemy list a while back --which I shamefully had a peak-- but, honestly, thats just a list.
The best plan would be to stay away from any other game website forums and youtube. Some video reviews also contain many spoilers, such as gametrailers.com.
These forums should do for the next month...I hope:dead:

When RE5 gets released, Ill be keeping away from most RE5 related topics for quite a while until Ive completed the main storyline section, which could take me days/weeks.

Good heavens, I just looked at another website forum and someone mentioned some of the returning enemies...holy s*it. I swear it was an accident, but YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPOIL THIS.

Well that sucks big time. I got mine back (2nd fail) in approx 10 days.
Stay the hell away from everything RE 5 related, my friend. Big spoilers are already out! :o

Same with my Ps3 died last nigh.

If you were reffering to me Kevchan, I already had a box. When we --my Mum actually :p-- phoned up Microsoft to tell them about my 360s RROD, the parcel men game round and collected it the next day.
And 10 days later brand spanking new 360 arrives and I was like :) ...
...but then I open the box and Im in shock...............a Mouse jumped out and attacked me lol just kidding, everything was good :)

I d have to agree with you there spikey it is Redfield s second outing because I just watched PlayR and it was the resi5 special episode and they had the Capcom representative for Europe on there saying that s it the second proper game that we see Chris.
Buts its good for him to get is very own personal outing, it s about time he s got allot of story to tell.

No I never stated playr said it I said that someone who works for Capcom (people who make the RE games) said that its Redfield s second outing.

What a load of balls, Code Veronica is a mainstream game, like they all are, except for UC of course, Outbreak starts it all off from a diffrent perspective to any major RE characters, 0 happens at a later date but still near the beginning, 1 follows, 2 follows, 3 follows and then Code Veronica which follows claire on her travels for chris and chris looking for Wesker or what have you.
Of course CV is a mainstream resi! It shows that Claire finally finds Chris, which I think was her main objective after resi 2. It also adds a whole new set of enemies and a new virus for Wesker to use. Theres probably more, but I cant be a**ed to think. So I wont :p
I am sure he made a mistake as if you play and follow the story of Resi CV you would see it is part of the story line.

As I am re-watching the show right now thank you sky+, the guy who quoted the line was Ben Le Rougetel (Director of European PR and Community, Capcom.
I just still don t view code veronica as one the of mainstream resi titles, the way I see it if it was meant to be mainstream would it be called Resident evil 4: code veronica

And if anything good to come out of all this is that this is Chris s first proper personal outing this time it s his story.
Just look at all the call of duty games some of them have interlocking storylines with the same people popping up but ones like call of duty united offensive isn t a main stream cod game put has things to do with Cod1 and Cod2.
But yes this is the last of what I m going to say because I m not in the mood to argue about something some dude said. And probably should get back to the topic at hand really.

If you follow the Resi games by the Story you see code veronica is part of the series and a important one but if you just play the game with not following the story you can deny it is part of the series.
Resident Evil Degenratin the film is part of the Resident Evil story which i belive is set 7 years after Resident evl 4 and that even has references to Code Veronica with the Chris and Claire reference.
You can use it as a reference but it makes little diference realy as one series is bassed on something that happend and one isnt. So with Resi being fiction you can basicly interpritate how you want if you dont follow the story.
I just still don t view code veronica as one the of mainstream resi titles, the way I see it if it was meant to be mainstream would it be called Resident evil 4: code veronica
Code V. was developed as RE3, and Capcom decided on a last minute name switch due to wanting 3 as the last RE game on Playstation, so ordered that the side-story Nemesis be re-named to RE3 not long before it released. Just so you know.

Who the hell even thinks that COD games are a series? Their stories are independant from each other and have nothing to do with other COD games. The fact that you see Captain Price in more than one game, is just Infinity Wards humour and fan-candy. Comparing its story to RE in that respect holds no weight.

Hmmm I think the cod games are a series and allot of other people do too.
But thats not the point I was using it as a god damn example and funny that people don t know when to Edit Spike: Languge well leave it alone.

As been prooved by James earlyer people at capcom have know to get things wrong from time to time.
