I was linked this at work, and I thought I'd give you a heads up if you happen to own a PS3 and a 360 and are unsure of which version you're getting.

http://www.product-reviews.net/2010/02/18/final-fantasy-xiii-xbox-360-version-is-not-hd-576p-confirmed/#idc-cover

Now that you're aware of the technical difference, I'll send the troll back to rest under his bridge, where he belongs.

been seeing it all week on the xbox forums lol

Even though i own both machines I am picking up the 360 version down to preferring the pad for long gaming sessions.

It was always going to be better on the Ps3 as it was originally built around the Ps3 architecture and ported to the 360 in what seems to be record time.

Even Halo 3 runs a 576p then the 360 scale chip up scales it

As much as I rate my Xbox over the PS3, Im getting it on Sony's machine. Mainly because of the link up with the up coming PSP game which Ill probably end up getting but never playing that much and the fact that I think FF should stay on playstation for no real reason...at least the 360 got the avatar chocobo

Wait, what? I dont get that, please explain. My hands dont hurt when i hold my ps3 controller for hours...

LOL at the trolls there :trolls:. I have no other choice but to buy FFXIII on my ps3 as its the only console i have. But suprise suprise, im not buying the game any time soon. Mainly because of the high release price, but i have other plans(GTAIV, Gow III - higher on my list than this game, Heavy Rain etc.)and no money :(.

I don't know if you remember I had a op on my elbow last year for a trapped nerve and I just find the 360 pad more suitable and comfortable for long gaming sessions since then.

Exactly the same reason here :)

Trolling?
Why bother.

Everyone who has looked a bit into Resonance of Fate knows that that's going to be a better RPG then FFXII.

(This post is void, coming from an FF hater who forcibly plays through all the games just to be up to date with what the people around him are talking about.)

Really looking forward to Resonance of Fate though, since it's focused on advanced RPG gameplay. :3

Yeah, I think these things are pretty minor, but there are people who are super obsessed with technicalities, hence I decided to make a topic about it. I don't own a 360, personally, so to me the choice is simple. [Probably won't be getting it at launch, though]

Regarding Resonance of Fate - I played it a while ago, and it's pretty safe to say that it's very different from any other current JRPGs. The battle system is interesting, but I'm not sure if it particularly appeals to the same demographic as FFXIII. I feel FF in general is a little bit more universal where as RoF is a bit more Japanese, so I think there's plenty of room for both.

Resonance of Fate looks intriguing and very interesting, despite the steampunk setting throwing me off and my caution regarding the firearm reliability. Definitely one to look out for.
