What s your favourite case from the Phoenix Wright games? From what you ve played, anyway. This might be hard to choose for some, as some players prefer the game s story revelations to some of the game s "crime investigation" game play set pieces. For me it was a bit of both, although the story was more important for me, personally.

There are so many, as I like to refer them, epic cases in the series. If you didn t follow any spoilers on the internet, some of the series plot revelations and set-pieces alike were, simply put, spectacular to be behold if you re a die-hard fan like me.

Honestly, with the exception of a few in the second game, most of the cases I played in the series I enjoyed. Apollo Justice had a couple of good ones, but I wouldn t put any of my all time favorite list.

But, my favorite one has to be case five in the third game (trials and tribulations) known as Bridge to the Turnabout. As a fan of the series, this one completely blew me away as I did not know what to expect. The term "plot twist" is never more evident than this case, as there are moments where you re like WTF?

There were several twists half way through, and a couple more towards the end of the trial. It s evident that Capcom wanted to tie-up most of the loose ends in the series, and this case wrapped it up nicely. This is why it is my favorite among all the others.

To be honest, though, the last two cases in the first game were excellent. Plus, the villains for each case were really cool. Another worth mentioning is the final case in the second game (justice for all) which is, in a lot of fan s eyes, the greatest one because of "that" plot twist.

I didn t go into too much detail as there are some people who have never played the game before and should experience it for themselves.

Bit of a long post I know, but I want to hear what your favorites are, cmon folks reply:)

The cases you mentioned were all very good.
One of my favourites has to be Farewell, My Turnabout.

The case was amazing and one of the things that made it even more memorable was the fact the bad guy was probably the worst imo, even worse than Dahlia.

My favourite is the very first case in Apollo Justice. The game simply did not hold back and it was something I totally did not expect for a first case. Really never forgot that one (and the outcome)!

*SPOILERS*

Matt Engarde was evil, and truly and excellent villain...but Dahila was on another level in terms of just pure evilness. Matt was, perhaps, more intelligent with the way he outsmarted a lot of people, including Phoenix...but Dahila was a wicked, cold hearted bitch, who even killed her own sister. Tried to get Maya to kill her own mother (Misty)...pure evil! Capcom suprised me with this wicked bitch lol.

Matt has the best haircut, though b)

Wait, you dont want to spoil stuff, so you dont in the first post...then comes that Dahlia response which kinda spoils most of the details of the last case of the third game?

Anyhows, I consider the Engarde case my favorite, since its a long one, with some good twists and the fact that its the only case in the series which causes a real alternative ending.

Well, yeah, since Death the Kid brings up Dahlia and mentions the Villain in case 5 of the second game is worse (more evil) than Dahlia, I responded. And instead of saying yes, I agree or no I disagree, I gave a detailed response on my opinion. I said I didnt want to go into too much detail even though the points I made were quite detailed, but I never went into every single twist that happens in case 5--trust me, there are other twists in this case -- all I did was respond because I find the games story very interesting.

Someone else could have posted Why do you think that villain A is worse than villain B?, so that would have been my response. I love this game series and is the first time Ive ever discussed the game with other people on message boards.

Or maybe I should have put, in big letters, SPOILERS -_-

ANYWAY, yes the Engarde case is very popular among fans of the game and the only one with an alternatve ending.
