Hey there,
Im writing after a few hours spent with the fresh Street Fighter IV Game. Everything looks cool - the characters are great (although I could brag out my opinion about them being not balanced enough, but thats not the topic), the music sounds good, the stages look cool.. One thing bothers me - why, when choosing VERY EASY in Arcade El Fuerte - my opponent - cant stop running and flying and counters almost every one of my moves? The same goes with other fighters such as C. Viper or Abel, not to mention Sagat. And right after a tenth try beating Ken with me playing Rufus I turned off the game being really frustrated (and this happens very rarely when it comes to games). My point is that all I wanted is to softly get into the game and instead I got owned big time on one of the easiest difficulties in the game! Somethings not right here.
What should be said by a guy for whom SF4 is the first game from the series? It supposed to be a game for everyone, not for the elite players that know whats going on.
Im not a newbie when it comes to SF games, I have played almost every one of them and so far the levels were balanced pretty well. And Im aware that there are a lot of better players than me, disagreeing with me, but come on - VERY EASY should be VERY EASY. If someones looking for a challenge and wants to have serious trouble beating every single opponent - choose HARD, VERY HARD or HARDEST.
I really hope the game difficulties will be balanced with one of the updates.
