Hello Monumental,
Can you please confirm a release date of the demo?
Many people are checking 'Marketplace' at Xbox-live multiple times a day (including me :D) just to see that there is still no MotoGP09/10 demo. :bash:
I have a few more questions of things I might have misunderstood or missed:
-Is tire-worn also available in the multiplayer? [Would be brilliant!]
-I know it is not possible to change your setup in multiplayer, but can you load a saved setup created earlier (@ single player) for every racetrack?
-I know about the voting system concerning the race-tracks, but is a host still able to kick out a player? It might be required if someone is riding in the wrong direction or crashing people intentionally? Or is the advice to run private friends room?
From the previews/interviews/reviews I've read seen so far it looks very promising :D:D:D:D:D
Kind regards and many thanks for your answers!

Good luck with the demo release date question :thumb:

First of all, all I currently know is that the demo will be released before the game. Capcom haven't given me a date yet, but as soon as they do, I'll post it here.
I'll also get answers to your other questions as soon as possible.
I've read somewhere that the demo is on hold because of Microsoft. Is this true? If so, why do PS3 players have to wait too?

Many thanks for your effort! I think the way you've continued to communicate between the players/community and the developers is quite unique for a game. Although some postings show little respect for the developers and/or the effort being done to produce a great game. Surely they can't make everyone completely happy, and there will probably things within the final game I would liked to be different or improved, but I believe MotoGP 0910 will be a big step forward compared to the MotoGP08 game who was mainly focussed on simplified offline-gameplay, graphically nice (with bad fps) but no decent multiplayer interface as the online gameplay on MotoGP08 was (IS) the worst of all.

I agree , this is the first forum I see where someone from the development team really tries his best to answer most qustions.
On other game forums (i.e. Codemasters, EA) 90% of the questions are just ignored.

Monumental Games are very community driven and strongly believe that we need to be talking to you at every opportunity. We can't always answer every question in as much depth as you would like, but we do our best to ensure you're never ignored.

YES
-I know it is not possible to change your setup in multiplayer, but can you load a saved setup created earlier (@ single player) for every racetrack?
No, but it's possible to setup a bike for each track, join multiplayer, pick the bike which corresponds to the track that you’ll be playing… I’d setup the same bike for each track that way you can never go wrong ;) but then in a 125cc season I’d also pick Jasper Iwema because “Iwema” sounds ace if you say it like Emperor Palpantine so bear that in mind…
-I know about the voting system concerning the race-tracks, but is a host still able to kick out a player? It might be required if someone is riding in the wrong direction or crashing people intentionally? Or is the advice to run private friends room?
YES

LOL! Many thanks for the SUPER-QUICK answers. Great news actually, tire worn in multiplayer is absolutely FANTASTIC! :thumb: :D
However, I am not sure about the last YES. Is a host able to kick out a player YES/NO?
Or do we need to run private rooms to prevent the need to kick someone? YES/NO? :scared:

The host is able to kick a player out in a private game. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure about a normal game though. I'll pop off and find someone who does know for sure. :chin:

Thanks again m8! Although I doubt that I would ever kick out a player in a self-created private game. :p
Maybe the online gaming in MotoGP 09/10 is setup completely different compared to MotoGP07 were a host is able to create either a private room (invite only) or a public room. In both room-types a host is able to kick/ban players (if needed). In public (open) rooms sometimes players join who don't want to race, but just causing accidents riding backwards, shouting etc. It would be sad if there is no way to kick them out and the only way is to start a private room were you invite your friends. Naturally, it's sometimes nice to meet new people. :pit:
I'm grateful for the effort once again! :)

I'm fairly sure the host can kick in both, but I will have to double check for you.

I'm sorry Space but I disagree, I think everyone on this board has been extremely respectful and appreciative of the efforts made by Steve to supply us with feedback and answers - so we might not always be completely satisfied with what we here, but these boards are the place to air those opinions. The development process is a two way thing.

I totally agree, this board is a great communication tool between players and developers! :):D But, they surely can't make everyone happy if I read some of the (contradicting) requests/responses different people made. Nevertheless, I think most people will be positively surprised about MotoGP 09/10! :D:D:D
Surely the new game will not be perfect, but it will have many great elements never seen before. But, there will always be room for improvement (MotoGP 11/12) as everybody would agree.

hehehe...::mexwave:
But, I'm already pleased that Capcom has a extended license for the series! This means that it only gets better as the same developers continue to work on the game.
But, you can bring me MotoGP 09/10 at any moment...
I WANT IT NOW! :horray::bouncy::bouncy::horray:
However, the demo would already calm me down a bit...
Take care,

On the two player mode by split screem, there are more riders on the race or only you and your friend ?
Thanks!

In split screen mode, you choose what type of race you want to play.

Thank you for the fast answer ! so, you can choose one mode in which there are other riders controled by the CPU:blink:?

You can play with just you and a friend or with the AI riders turned on. There are four levels of difficulty to choose from when you choose to play with the AI riders.

In MGP08 when you did career you played the "09" season, meaning that when you set a fast lap it would state e.g. "Your Rider" 2009 1:45:56. You could only do 5 seasons, however in the following season (lets say your 4th season) if you set a fast lap it would still say "Your rider" 2009 1:44:00. Meaning that even 4 years down the road the game still thought it was 2009. In MGP09/10 will the year change as you go thru additional seasons?
Well, if you mean leaderboard entries then we need to specify what year the bike was from, not what year you are currently playing, as you will be able to download Rossi’s 2010 Fiat Yamaha, which will have a slightly different performance level, which people online will need to distinguish.
Also what was the status on the question about previous season stats? In career mode will you be able to look at previous seasons result (QP time, Race time, race pos, etc)?
You can look through your entire current seasons stats, but currently there is no way of looking through your previous seasons statistics in career mode.
How will the structure of the career mode be, considering the Moto2 class will replace the 250cc class? Do we have to choose between "a 2009 career mode" (125cc > 250cc > MotoGP) or "2010 career mode" (125cc > Moto2 > MotoGP)? Or will it be possible to go 125cc > 250cc > Moto2 > MotoGP ?
The former system is the one we have. We cannot have different years mixing together, so you can’t use 250cc bikes on the 2010 tracks in anyway, as this would be in breach of the licensing deal we have with Dorna.
