This petition is simple really...

We need Capcom to patch SFIV so that the custom mp3 playback is available for online matches on the ps3....

Thinking about it, on my xbox, I can just open the menu and play music, which mutes the games BGM, but not the voices and battle effects.

Now, I have no experience with SFIV, or ps3 , but isnt such an option available as well? just booting the own music from the PS3 Hard disk?

As far as I know, you can play music like on the 360. However, you CANNOT play during online matches. Still, SF4 was a game made for the fans and green lighted with a collective cry from the fans for more, so I would not be surprised if something like this was added in.

Though Im willing to guess there are no plans at this time.

Hi guys

I was fortunate enough to get hold of SFIV on the 19th here in the uk (release day was the 20th.) And put simply I could play online matches with my custom mp3 soundtrack.

Let me just reiterate/repeat that again I could play online with my custom mp3 soundtrack.

Then at about 11 oclock that night I received a patch (which Im guessing was europe wide and sent out to co-inside with the official release date)

This patch removed the ability for my mp3s to be available during online matches.

In short, we need a patch to fix this issue...

Nothing beats playing your friends online and creaming them with your favorite tunes adding to the experience and enjoyability.
