View Full Version : The SFIV lobby system...
Its weird how SF2 HD Remix delivers a truly awesome lobby system for up to 6 people and even online tournament creation, and then Capcoms newer title (SFIV) takes it away. Only being able to invite a single person to a lobby is really inconvenient and discourages lengthy online competition play, and makes it harder to get together with friends (everyone is off in their own 2 person groups).
Ive also been ranting away on my microphone for my 40-odd matches, and no one has ever spoke back. Do people not have headsets, or is there no voice communication? The back of the box says there is, but Im yet to see it work.
If Im missing something here, please fill me in. Id love to here from someone in-the-know about these issues. Will SFIV be patched to resolve them?
usually only american brats use headsets with people they dont know so dont expect an intellectual conversation with ppl online
out of intrest is this ps3 version or xbox?

Im assuming you posted this on NeoEmpire too (nearly exact same post) and like it was said there, there probably will be updates to add to it. I cant see Capcom leaving the game as it is. After all there is an update on release day.
Its not being released today, or anytime soon.
Its also not enabling proper lobbies or spectator support...

There will be no console longevity when it comes to the lifespan of this game, because of that. Its such a shame.
How are we supposed to deal with this prehistoric lobby? Every friend I have bought the game and this is the worst surprise for me, we cant play together...We wont play this very long in this condition capcom you should have known better.

If youre playing on the 360 just add your friends to a party and you can chat all together and invite any of them to the lobby.

Have you ever played street fighter 2 HD? Dead or alive? Soul calibur 4? There is no way were going to do that all nights, we need a real lobby, anyone knows if theyre working on it? The game is awesome we only need one stuff, the lobby.
