I was very disappointed to read that the PS3 version is getting a sub standard port - is this true?

I read it here:

Street Fighter IV Thread on GameSlurp (http://www.gameslurp.com/page.php?p=76567#post76567)

If so, why can other multi-platform developers get the EXTRA power out of the PS3 but you cant??? I may be sending my copy back if this turns out to be true!

Gutted you crapped on us PS3 owners - especially when it is a much more powerful console if you take the time to develop for it properly!!!!!

SFIV was developed on the MT Framework then ported to both 360 and ps3

So is it true? That there is no AA on the PS3 version? and it drops to 630p on close-ups? Can you get a dev to confirm this please? Im really saddened by it, especially when developers are making games like Killzone2 for the PS3.

I have not seen or heard it drops to 630p, its all 720p

You will never get the full potentil of the ps3 in multiplatform games it was the same with Xbox over ps2 in the last gen days.

Killzone 2 is a sony ps3 exclusive their for more time is spent on the game in developement and how many times has killzone 2 been delayed due to problems getting it running right?

Uncharted 2 - no delays
Resistance 2 - no delays
Ratched and Clank - no delays
COD4 / 5 - do delays

And lots more that have done a great job on the PS3

The bottom line is it is a developers job to get the most out of a console, not be lazy and just push things through. We paid a LOT of money to buy the best console, and we expect developers to make full use of their power. Its really annoying when devs are lazy and just cant be bothered

From what i have seen and heard both ps3 and 360 games are identicle, which to be honnest i dont see a problem with that.

Like I said befor games that were multiplatform last gen would suffer this for Xbox and Gamecube which were both more powerful than the lead platform the PS2.

Uncahated 2 is not out yet:s

COD 4 and 5 were developed for each platform indipendently which costs extra money to do and many wont do that and you cant realy blame them when a their is a cheaper and easyer alternative which is a midleware platform like the MT framework.

If your not happy with the game fine thats your choice, but it is the exsact same game that is on the 360 the only difference is the controler.

If he has the cash he could get a Taito Type Xý board ^^. Well it is probably cheaper to get the PC version in that case.

You wont really notice it unless theyre side by side. Ive had the game for a few days now and I honestly never noticed. It still looks marvelous!
