week. Not only is Capcom releasing Street Fighter IV on PS3
and 360 this Friday, but tomorrow Thursday 19th February,
PlayStation 3 owners will be able to play the
game that laid the foundations for SFIV with the release
of Super Street Fighter II HD Remix on the European
PlayStation Store.

Ive been following all the issues getting this out and felt sorry for Capcom having to hold back as much as you guys did, plus Im sure itll impact sales so close to IV, but Im really happy its finally going to be out tomorrow and I cant wait to play it on PS3.
And, yes, I also have a 360, but for some reason the PS3 seems to be my preferred platform of choice for SF games, not least because I can play the PS1 SF games on it as well.

Hello last night it was said here that Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix was to be released on the european PSN but as of yet it is not there so i would just like to no when it will b on there thanx

With the 360 version the light punch button chooses the characters trademark colours. Id assume its the same case for the PS3.
The difficulty is hard but atleast it felt easier than Hyper SF2, now that was a nightmare.

I find it strange that they released this a day BEFORE SF4......none of my friends bought this game.
Theres a reason to buy SSF2THD, because its more than a little different to SFIV.
And if you are that kind of person, that wants to play the old SFII game online, SSF2THD is THE GAME!
Tap the square button, works for me every time. If you hold it the colour changes.

I had the same problem and think this is a bug.
After i played with Ryu, got beaten up, and changed to Ken, he had the white outfit, when selecting him with square.
After i quit the game and restarted Ken has his red outfit, selecting with square!

The German Translation is awful. I think they just pushed it through a translation program...
I HOPE THE WILL FIX IT, because there isnt many text and the german text now is horrible!!!
I have the game downloaded from the Canada store few weeks ago, and i can choose Ken with his red original outfit using the light punch ...
I wonder to know if capcom has repaired some errors and bugs in the EUR version of this game, cause it arrived like 2 months late...:
- Continuous disconections and errors from PSN
- Health bar and scoreboard glitch during a fight.
- Sprites from players and background glitch

Question, does this game override all previous incarnations of SF2? As the true version of SF2? The SF canon doesnt state.
