So, yesterday i was goin for the Indoorman achievement - i got it, then saved the game and turned the console off. Today, 5min ago, i started Dead Rising - i was goin for outdoorman achievement. I loaded my save, and when it was done loading the outdoorman achievement popped up. WTF ?! I didnt want it that way, i wanted to go on the roof and stay there for the required 24h ( ingame time )... How can i delete this glitched achievement ? And more id like to know if theres a possibility of gettin banned from xbl or gamerscore reset.... i DIDNT want to glitch i just loaded my game the usual way without doin anythin wrong. I hope u have some answers for me, thanks.

You won't get banned for that. You only get any negative attention exploiting glitches or hacks during multiplayer games.
And even then, I think it has to negatively impact other online players.

Its seriously stupid man, i didnt wanna do that... I saved my game yesterday after indoorman, loaded the game today and the outdoorman achievement popped up... kinda annoying, im a fair GS hunter :(
First things first, it's not that you can just post outside of the DR section because you don't feel like it Silent, I expect you to know that, since you often help us mods out in the Monster Hunter section. ;)
But, this thread could be used for info about glitched achievements in general, so I'm leaving it here. (Changing the title after I place this post though)
As far as I know, achievements that glitch in-game, will never get you banned, and aren't viewable on Microsofts cheat detection system, from a conversation I had with one of my friends who works at as a customer service aid for Microsoft Benelux.
Microsoft WILL ban people from time to time who use illegal means like hacking a console to just unlock the achievements without any actual playing.
A fine example of this would be Assasin's creed:
The game has a glitch that when, if you follow a certain route to jump through a piece of scenery, and fall to your death, you'll unlock the "100 enemies defeated" achievement.
Since the game has been out close the launch of the Xbox360, and lots of cheat-scans have been made since that's time, it's a sign that being legal, but glitching into achievements will not do anything bad to your reputation or account. (Be it either by own choice or free will)
(And let's face it, you've saved yourself a bit of trouble, 'cause who wants to just grind hours for achievements that don't actually "achieve" anything? ;D)

Well it could be the case that it has been accumulated from all the times you previously played? Why delete it when you did not do anything wrong? :p
Why would you be banned for doing something that you did not do on purpose Silent K? I think your safe compared to those people that did all those confusing kill schemes on Gears online.... :)
Ooooh, did you go all the way to the end on Climax mode with lady Bayonetta?

Yes Jarlino i know lol but i posted it here instead of the DR section becus its not really about the game but about that glitch ^^
Im running in circles now on the roof for marathon man achievement, and like this i will get over 2h outside so its kinda "ok". Still id like that it would´ve never happened to me, even tho, like u said " doin actually nothin for an achievement " is good enough, running for 2 hours (real time) isnt that bad when u watch tv besides that or browse the net with a laptop :)
I dunno charmed im always worried about my achievements etc. For example, when i play Cod with friends on headset they moan a lot, insulting etc, but i never use any bad word lol. I never cheat, never glitch, never do anythin bad. Not on xbox360, not on ps3, nowhere. Thats maybe a reason when somethin accidently happens, i think of the worst.
No m8 i didnt finis bayonetta on climax mode yet, i didnt play it for a long time now, but jarlino did it, that little ..... :D ( jokes ^^ ).

(cut me some slack, I've been getting tons of hate messages this week for buying Bomberman: Act Zero, not even as an achievement hunt, but just becasue it's such a bad game)

Oooh yeah! I was the first one of the Capcom Europe group as far as I know, with Charmed being a close second. :)
(See how much more achievements can add disbelievers? Not just points, but also group feeling xD)

I still don't really understand acheivements. I get the satisfaction of acheiving something in-game myself... but I don't really care if I get a badge or not. Games are lemons; You squeeze every drop of juice you can from them, and then move on to the next one ^___^

I am actualy very curious to try this "Horse and Me" game! But I actualy got that "Disney Sing it" game with the microphone as it was only £9.99... "sinister music"
The rep system is mostly useless anyway as someone could just be on a personal hate vendetta.I am sure your a really swell player and you bring much joy to xbox live on a daily basis Silent K. :p

Hehe u should get horse n me soon, but buy it cheap, not worth more then 10€ :D
I made a good deal today, i bought Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST for 30€ ^^
Also i finished the marathon man achievement on Dead Rising, sorry Jarlino i was at the supermarket while u send me the message, i used a rubberband to adjust the analogs so the character is running in circles automatically lol.

Wooooooo i got glitched again WTF :mad: I downloaded RE5 Desperate Escape, finished it and got 15 GS for it. Before i got that, my score on resi was 1060, after i got it, its..... 1060 ?! I can see the achievement in my list, it is unlocked, its my 55th achievement in RE5, xbox tellin me i only have 54, i should have 1075 GS, not 1060. I even count it, its a huge mistake...... Anyone had that too / or on other games ?
Oh, I can probably tell what's going on!
When you get DLC fast, usually the games are not up to date yet to include the scores in you overall score.
Your achievements should pop alongside your final score when the game updates again. ;)

There was a patch i had to download already.. :confused: Im "rescueing" my gamertag atm, maybe it counts then, but its takin ages lol :p
EDIT: Rescuing done, achievement gone, like i never did it lol. Everythin else is there, just that achievement isnt unlocked. Thats ok tho at least i can try again now, dunno why there was a problem.
EDIT2: I was in a xbl party 2min ago and the 2 friends i spoke to suffered the same fate lol. RE5 Desperate Escape achievements r glitched....... Please Capcom, patch it.

I'm guessing it'd be because it was in your cache and not online.
