View Full Version : Street Fighter IV Soundtrack?

Looking over some American sites, i found out that they will recieve the soundtrack to Street Fighter IV in with their Collectors Editions, but what about European customers? Will the soundtrack be made available to us at all? From what ive read, its certainly not in our Collectors Edition, but will i be able to buy it from stores?

I seen on the GAME site that the description mentioned a soundtrack so maybe it will include a few selected tracks? Also if you go on play-asia there is an upcoming release that must have every track from the game. :)
I think the maximum import tax free ammount has gone up to about œ100 so that shouldnt be a problem.

CE will give you a sample CD with 4 or 5 tracks. Like DMC4.
If you want the full soundtrack youll have to buy it.
CE isnt really worth it at this moment.

Thanks for the responses! From what i hear the movie is supposed to tie-in the gap between Street Fighter II and IV so im looking forward to watching that. Plus from what ive seen of teh figures, they look a bit better than happy meal type toys, true theyre no where near as detailed as the 7 ones and i dont think there is any articulation, but they still look pretty cool, but i do agree that for a collectors edition, there should be a little more exclusivity for the reward of paying the extra œ30
Looks like ill have to add the soundtrack to my list of things to get, i dont mind buying it at all, its just that out of all the things mentioned to tie in with the release of the game, there seemed to be no mention of the soundtrack, thanks for your replies!

As stated already, illegal talk is a no-no. As for the soundtrack, I must say it is VERY GOOD! The remixed tunes are pretty awesome! Its one thing hearing it from a YouTube video but when you actually get to say, a Rival Battle with Guile, Ryu, Gouken etc yourself then you just go OH MY GOD! SFII DAAAYYSS!! except in some cases youre using a new character. The soundtrack overall is really, really awesome. The credits music is a nice mashup of remixed tunes for oldies plus inclusions of the new warriors. The only track that they really should have thought about was the intro. I honestly am getting used to it..maybe even beginning to like it (Indestructible!!!) but they should have chosen something a little better for a track that is not only played in the first half of the intro but also the main menu AND during gameplay. Aside from that the soundtrack fits in so well with the whole game. Its like a near perfect package of goodness. Cannot wait to get the OST!
Oh, and just in case some are wondering, YES, some ofthe Alpha tunes (for the Alpha peeps) are remixed. Never thought Id hear Roses tune again, ha! Forgot how interesting her theme was, heh.

Just to make it clear, i have absolutely no desire to download the soundtrack, either illegaly or through a payment method, i would much rather own a physical product on CD format that i have paid for. I HATE pirated and illegal merchandise as it is usually of lesser quality and if you are a true fan of what you want, i believe you would be glad to spend your money on an official product that contributes to the great people who have bought us these games.

Im sorry but even if you download something you own it is illegal.
You have only bought the one licence to the soundtrack their for you only own one copy legaly!
