As many of us know, RE2 was release to many consol.

But are they all the same as the PS1 release?
Why i ask is:.... RE4 GC is not the same as PS2, and REcv DC is not the same as GC/PS2...

I know N64 was littel better looks vice. im a right?? :?:

Theres a regular Resident Evil 2 and a DualShock version (also comes with a Battle Mode) of Resident Evil 2 on the PSOne.

The N64 version has extra features, including EX-Files which carry on the story. They even consist of Billy Coen.

The rest of the versions were all similar to the DualShock version of the game, as well as containing the odd extra feature.

Yeah, its mostly extra unlockables.

I think the PC version had an art gallery as well.

Never anything substantial though, bar the Ex-files in the N64 version, half of which ended up in RE3 anyway.

Depends what you mean by best.

Gamecube has it all on one disc, has vibration on controls and just as much as the PS1 version, making it far more user friendly.

N64 has an extra mode I think, along with the EX-Files, meaning it has a lot more content, but things like the cutscenes lack due to it being on a cartridge and not streamed from disc.

I think the PC version has the minigame but lacks the EX-Files, has variable controls that may lack vibration feedback but has mods floating around for different characters and so on.

It really does depend whether you prefer content or playability.

I did notice that the PC version is missing some music cues such as the music outside the RPD station entrance.

The N64 is the fastest loading of the lot of them, unless you have a fast PC, etc.

Though the PC version can be a bit of a problem to get working.

I think the controls are perfectly suited to the gamecube controller, but thats personal preference.

Ill third that.

The GameCube controller felt like it was built to play Resident Evil...any of them. They all played well on the GC.
