If Tenebra could contact Capcom Japan and also a question for herself... .

Is it technically possible to create a remake or a complete new game from Dante for the nintendo ds? qua gameplay and graphics?

For a minute there, I actually thought there was gonna be one.

Depends, if it where a 3D based adventure it would be fairly hard with the limitations on controls, that and DS graphics dont look that good anyway.

2D is more than likely, it would look better and be a bigger game similar to that of Castlevania.

Both very possible.

Aye, I cant remember whether it was this one but a rumor to go along with it pertained to a Chibi Devil May Cry game for the DS.

How cute would that be. :D

Well, so... why not speaking about how youd prefer it?

It can be like DS version of Ninja Gaiden, point and click to shoot, stylus movement for sword attacks.
Using Nero, draw a circle on an enemy to grab it.

Or better: top screen for action and bottom screen to perform attack and weapon selection.

For example a circle for a 360ø action, vertical line for a vertical attack and click for shoot(charged if you keep it pressed). L(or R, for left hand) to lock enemy.
Adding some special move for Neros grab(moving left-right or right-left to grab) moves and specially versus bosses on Osu! style.

Obviously, the game must be simplier to be playable.

I actually think this would work really well. Its just whether or not Capcom decide to implement it this way.

I have no doubt that the DS can produce near identical graphics to the DMC games on the PS2, if only slightly less detailed.

I beilve DMC would do well on the DS, though I haven't heard any more recent news about it.

Now you guys may think I'm completely out of hand or even insane for mentioning this but... how about an RPG style DMC for the DS. The DS can't support a fufilling enough DMC action adventure experience with it's current hardware. So how about having a 'pokenmon-on-acid' style of game play. you go around a map in the DMC universe going to the devil may cry shop to get quests. Upgrading and buying weapons and the Boss battles could implement a ninja gaiden style of stylus battle play or have big boss battles like sonic rush did etc... Think about it, this could be a fun little spin off deviation from the main series. The sprite could be like Dante as he appeared in viewtiful joe.

I know its abit different but bare in mind that this wouldn't be a main canonical title in the series.

The idea chazman-like* could work, only on DS because I don't want it on big consoles, but I still prefer my game. :P

Maybe combine world and missions, but battles need to be stylish action. Good 3D on DS is possible, Metroid Prime Hunters proves it.
