Interesting.
I questioned its validity until I saw the whole roll cage thing...that looked cool.
But, the question is, will it be as boring as the first game?

I am glad to have seen that before it is removed due to copyrights! No mention of Frank but hopefully he will be in it with Isabella and her trusty big gun blasting zombies!
Just hope the saving system is a lot simpler as I lost count of how many times I restarted at that truck with the prisioners. I havent even done the last bit fetching ingredients. :P
Hated how the game forced you to either get the true ending, OR saving all the survivors, and not able to do both.
Made me pretty frustrated the first playthrough, though I started playing it ago a while back, and enjoyed it by simply not caring about anything un-story related.
Like the first one, Ill get it when it goes budget. :devil:

If it is fake, then its a very impressive fake, kudos to whoever made it.
If its real, then I hope that theyve elaborated on it way more than simply changing the location and weapons, I hope that theyve made better systems overall and used the full potential of what is possible to make it far deeper and far more rewarding than the first.
Truth is, Dead Rising is a once in a lifetime game, as in youll play it and enjoy it through the first time, but once youre done then there isnt much to go back to, especially if youve done a perfect run and saved everyone, there wasnt much on the alternate story front either, no hidden weapons or secrets other than references to other games and rewards for leaving your console on way too long.

If this is official, which Im aware you cannot comment on...would this be considered breaking any form of embargo or anything?
This video certainly poses problems though...if Capcom remove it, then its a confirmation...if they leave it, then it spreads and becomes bigger and bigger until Capcom are either forced to confirm or deny...
I guess its better left, since its not totally official (yet) people will remain unsure to its authenticity, whereas if it disappeared then wed all know something was being covered up.

it could merely be a concept video, sort of like to build intrest for development as i saw no real aspects of gameplay, and it wasnt exactly aimed at customers.
so i would guess that its just talks going on to see if they will make a sequal, which even if they do agree to do, it would still take some time for the finished product, so lets not get too excited just yet.

It looks like it is for public viewing, does it not? The way the narration works just makes it seem so valid. As for the Japanese, I think the fact that it translates to terms specifically related to the story makes me think its real as well.
Not to mention that Dead Rising Wii comes out soon, perfect for the trailer to be packed in with! =P
