In career mode, will you be able to make your own team only? or can you join real life teams also?

This was the case in MotoGP 08, but what I've read about 09/10 it seems like in career mode you will only be able to race with your own team.
So I'd like to know too, if it will be possible to drive for other teams in career mode, however I doubt it.
What I'd also like to know about the career mode; will it be possible to hire drivers for your team?

I've asked these questions on the American Capcom boards and they were answered by someone from Monumental (I think);
In career mode we won't be able to drive for existing teams, and we won't be able to hire drivers for our own team. IMO this isn't a big deal, I think the career mode will be great, as long as we can unlock all bike models :)

I've asked another question on the American forum, involving the number of participants per race, and there will be a max of 20 riders in all modes :(
Example: 20 riders in 125cc races instead of 33(?) :(

It makes no difference to me if theres 19 or 90 other riders on track - I dont pay much attention to whats behind :D
Besides, its all about the on-line for me - If monumental can back up their boast of a lag free 20 player online experience then this game could be epic!

Well, for online play I understand the maximum (20 is still a lot for online racing). But for offline they could've made the maximum number of bikes at least 25 or something..?
they should just take all the riders from 2009 and 2010 season, because in 2009/2010 there are only about 17 riders on the grid in the 800cc, now they make 125cc, 250cc and Moto2 look just the same as the 800cc, it will look so empty...
There's 2 more things I'd like to know about the career mode:
- The sponsors for your team; are they real or fictional companies?
- Will the sponsors be visible on the bike itself? Because I haven't seen any sponsors on the bike in the career trailer...
I really dont know about that xD
And when would the demo be released? they said a month before the games release, so it should be around this time of the month...

I don't have a date for the demo as yet, but I've been told that it will be before tha game is released.
There are no decals, there is a selection of (5) pre-done paint jobs that have three channels which can be colourised by the player. Custom helmets are also pre-done and are just chosen by the player.
Then I think I will skip this game :(
Me 2 I mean, now its going to be like PGR 4's suite colouring part. WHY NOT let us join one of the teams or let ourselves fully customize the bike's with decals and sponsors. This MotoGP is probably going to be just an rampage as 2008 :( just only the decals can make the game a lot of different, in this game we cant join teams, we cant put A LOT decals on te bike like in 2007, now we probably have to ride with the same bike only, we can barely change it, 5 paint jobs which we can only colour 3 sections of? This is stupid.

It was far short of what we wanted to achieve, but was simply what could be done within the time we had. If you do want it in the next one then now’s the time for them to let Capcom know that vocally before all of the features are totally locked down!
We would much rather be adding a full colourisation suite of tools then seeing it left out again as it’s limited scope was something of a disappointment for us as well.

20 is an amazing number indeed. I doubt that most people understand :facepalm: the achievement that the new game is able to run 20 bikes online, and the new developed system to prevent lags (nice one!). These are the most bikes ever in a online bike-racing game! ;)
I also think 60fps is THE ONLY way to go to make a game feel fast, unlike MotoGP08 which clearly runs at lower fps.
For online I understand, but I don't really care about online, I'm an offline gamer. For online 20 players is a lot, I know, but for offline I'd like to have a full grid. I don't really give a crap if the fps drops below 60 if I have to start from the back, as long as it doesn't drop under 30 fps.

That's great news! Although I prefer real life companies, a lot of bikes are sponsored by companies I've never heard of, so no big deal :)
