There have been complaints (even Ive experienced the same issue) of gamers not being able to get in to an online co-op game, irrelevant of the co-op setting. Issues include:
1. Screen going dark after inviting/accepting invite.
2. Screen staying on the loading screen.
3. Invite message box not appearing.
4. Problem being persistent.
The reason?
Large Friends List.
Many might already be aware but if you have a large number of people on your list (as in over 60 for example), the demo will experience problems. Ive experienced the demo before and after a 60+ count and I can confirm that having 40/50 will result in a smooth transition between menus, as well as having the ability to invite/accept with out any issues. Whereas, having a large number will restrict the demos performance.
Delete anyone who you do not converse with, who have been dead weight (as in not appearing online for days) or who you just generally do not like.
Is it an issue that Capcom need to address? Of course. Well see in due time.
