View Full Version : where are my street fighter characters, where are my combos! D=
yes i was disappointed, not at the awesome intro or the amazing effects but the game did not include my fav characters which appeared in street fighter alpha 2 & 3 :mad: nor did it contain a good amount of combos and super attacks
did they just focus on the graphics and left the gameplay? what am i supposed to do with 2 super attacks and 1 revenge attack? heck, street fighter alpha 3 had load some of combos and super attacks, the characters' regular attacks and grabs had their sweet and luxurious feeling as you watch your character pummel the enemy with sweet attacks.
and 2nd of all, the new characters simply suck...i hate them, who the hell is that masked guy and whats wrong with that red ..err pink haired woman, jets shoes? cmon couldn't they get more creative? or the fat guy who's eyes pop out every time u punch him in the guts.
they should have stuck to the old ones instead. if they had kairi, jack, hokuto, sakura (where the hell is she, i thought she was a main character? probably cause of the lack of moves in the game, they would have given her the same moves as ryo..bah), skullomania,Dr.Dark, or my fav Garuda :mad:
they should remake street fighter alpha 3 with street fighter 4 engine, cause SF4 was a waste of money and time, see the game bothered me so much that i even came here and made an account so that i could bitch about it

Next time when you have so much free time, use it to put some research in it.
There's a trial mode dedicated to basic and advanced combo's, some of which have pro players stumped even to this day.
Sakura "who would have had the same moves as Ryu" is in the game, with her own moves, as well.
What amuses me most is the "they should have stuck with the old ones instead".
If you want nothing new, then by all means, please stick to the old games, instead of complaining about something without doing some research.

I don't know what's your prob dude, but why don't you play with mugen or something like taht if you don't like the new game. O.K. I was sad that Charakters like Elena, Eagle, Karin, Juli, Juni and Charlie weren't in the game,too, but what's your Problem with Viper or Rufus?
Sakura is in the game and next time you better think and search into the net before your babbeling stupid and wrong things ...
Can just add that Alpha is a spin-off series and SFIV is part of the main series. Therefore the characters is mainly from the main series (and if you should ask, SFIV is story wise between SF2 and SF3 and thats why theres no SF3 characters), but there is still some characters from other SF alpha (including Sakura) and more to come in Super SFIV. The new characters all have a unique fighting style different from everyone else in the game, what can be more creative? more shotos? :p
Everything else have been answered by others in this thread, and as they say; do some research before complaining.
yee yee, whatever i quit the game even before reaching sakura, oh excuse me for not noticing one character, what a horrible mistake. like i said, big disappointment for me, i stopped playing it after a couple of hours so i wouldn't have known that sakura existed. And like holy crap, everyone here commented on the sakura thing, wtf that isn't the problem here nor my point and I AM sticking to the old games i just rather see them with improved graphics, all iam saying is the old games owns this one, in which way? like i said, more characters and more moves which results in more combos..you can't deny that.
well, this game was like sniffing a big junk of burnt diarrhea poop up the nose, don't take it personal, i mean i am sure lots of people enjoyed the game and loved it, all what i am just saying, it might have attracted more peeps if people got to see their old characters with improved graphics.

You just had scroll a little bit further down on the wiki page to see whats included in the console version. There is a total of 25 characters in this game, Alpha 3 had 34. But Super SFIV will add 10 more making it 35 in SFIV. Not bad since it will be the 2nd SFIV release and Alpha 3 was the 3rd Alpha release.
But you seem to be here just for whining and ignoring all facts so i think i will stop post in this thread now :p

You mean you would have prefered it if you saw your favorites in HD :)
Sorry you didn't like it. Hopefully Super Street Fighter IV might be more up your street 35 characters, more moves and in your own reasoned argument more Combos! No way can you come back and complain about that. :D
