I cant believe no one has got there hands on it yet, I think capcom should release it eather make us pay or for free im sure many RE fans would pay i know i would. But the thing is i heard about this beta and petitions like 4 years ago and noone has got it yet how come's are playstation museum still keeping it hostage?:D
Would you release something to the public that you thought completely sucked??
Yeah, it was released in 1998, it's called "Resident Evil 2", and it was very good.

All of the beta Resident Evil games are disposed of apparently.

All thrown away, Im guessing if there's any of them left they will be the versions shown at game shows (E3 etc) but I highly doubt it.

Yes i agree but Dante said though it sucked but i believe its pritty amazing and many other resident evil fans agree.

But you haven't played it.
All you, or anyone else for that matter, has seen is leaked footage and screenshots.
What we've been shown of the game was about 10% (if that) of the full game (though they only made 80% of it), and judging the whole thing by screenshots and a few videos is...not really exactly the best way of judging a game, is it?
That may be your opinion,Personally i like the area your set in and the music and background make it alot more classic then resident evil 2 typical "Streets" Theme.
And weather its good or its terrible it's still another Resident Evil game i would love to get my hands on just like Resident Evil 3.5 Hooked Man and Fog.

The only areas that have been shown are the RPD and a few bits of sewers and Labs. Again, this is only about 10% of the game.
It is not just an opinion that you're judging the game off of 10% of the entire product, it is a fact that you are doing so.
Just another case of "grass is always greener on the other side".
Anyone intrested in remaking this game should be pritty easy with the right people we can start from resident evil 2 trial edition and rebuild from there?
I'd love to play resi 1.5, just for a bit more resi to play. I'd be just as happy with a new resi though, such as that PSP one :)

Well, the Demo of 1.5 was released. Japanese RE Directors Cut had a demo within, unlike the EU version which had already the RE2 demo.
