I never caught this before. Im not one to watch continuously repeated co-op vids of the demo but this one was special. The editing, yeah, but it was the track playing in the background.

Im fully aware of the Hollywood treatment that Capcom are giving Resident Evil 5, especially in terms of sound. But hot diggity damn this track really emphasizes the epic proportions of this game in terms of size, importance and how it will be an end of an era. I wouldnt have expected anything less, but wouldnt have expected something this orchestrally good. Im curious as to what part of the game this will play in.

Thoughts? Anyone else looking forward to the soundtrack?

I like to make a big fuss for game soundtracks. Im quite keen on Capcoms use of sound and music in their games and I am immensely looking forward to Resident Evil 5s soundtrack.

Its probably the best song Ive heard in the Resident Evil series so far, though itll need to go a long way to top MGS4s. Any word on whos composing?

I absolutely love movie and game soundtracks. The tune in th ebackground seemed to come from a B grade horror movie with a budget in low teen millions. Not to mention that, in this trailer, this piece of music felt completely out of place. If its taken from RE5 score, itll probably not be in gameplay background, at least I cant imagine it to be.

... So what you are trying to tell us is that Resident Evil is not the gaming equivalent of what you just mentioned?

Kota Suzuki. The 103-strong ensemble were recorded at 20th Century Fox.

Agreed, Id personally put it with an important cutscene, maybe one containing combat perhaps.

Yeah when watching this Co-op trailer it was the music I noticed first.

RE5 Musical Score really stands out.
But that one played in that trailer was especially good if one now compare it to some of the score played in previous trailers.

But liked the one played when one saw Chris telling Sheva she could make it or something like that when it seems all is going boom.
