I'm seeing it like this:

Dead Space 1 = Alien
Dead Space 2 = Aliens

As long as DS2 is able to keep the horror of the first game, then I'm fine with it.

We already know that they're now expanding Isaac's character (even giving him a voice), and expanding upon the role of NPCs within the game, so adding more action is a given to be honest.

I'm still looking forward to the game.

Thats similar to how Im looking at it aswell.

DS1/Alien - introduced the species.
DS2/Aliens - war on the species because they take the fight to the Necromorphs/Xenomorphs

Nah, I love Dead Space, and the Universe they've managed to create around it, and can't wait to get my hands on DS2. I'm loving the idea of exploring a colony, rather than just the one ship, and I'm loving the idea of now playing as an experienced Necromorph killer.

Yeah a planet with no modern weapons or advanced technology, with a new breed of necromorph :)

Im also curious about the MP, necromorphs vs humans ?, they said dismembering friends is a lot of fun..sounds good to me.
