Nintendo also says Punch-Out!! Wii and New Play Control! Pikmin will be out in the first half of 2009.
Nintendo has announced its Launch Schedule of Primary Nintendo Products for Japan, the US and Europe.
The biggest news for European gamers is confirmation that the Nintendo DSi will be hitting the continent at sometime in spring/summer. Its a vague six month period, but expect Nintendo to pin down a more accurate date as the months go on..................

Another DS, that plays the same games as the other two...just no GBA slot anymore. Is there really any point?

This is a much greater update over the DS -> DS Lite.
In fact you get the following with an upgrade of DS Lite -> DSi
- Camera + photo editing software
- Upgradeable firmware
- DSiWare (Downloadable games and applications)
- Ability to store things to an SD card (IE. Expandable memory)
- Smaller design
- Brighter screen
- Revised volume and sound system
For what its worth, you can actually find an interesting (English) review of the DSi at Vooks.Net

In addition, theyve also reviewed (or given impressions) of the latest DSiWare to come out of Japan.

Ive had a go at it a few times, and its alright. Its pretty much just an upgrade, though.
The camera features are kind of fun. You can manipulate images etc.

Eh, Im quite happy with my DS. Im not a keen follower on aesthetic updates for consoles (new features or no new features), handheld or not. The only way I MIGHT bite is if a new model for a console I play frequently was released. In this case, a slimline PS3. ;P

Same. :P
While I can see its tempting with all those features, I think ill wait until my old DS is dead or missing.
Yeah, I know of the unnecessary updates (to me). Its completely worthless to me though, considering I play more GBA games than DS games on the DS Lite (won a competition for that one).
