SF4 and the anime???

First of all let me say that iam ecstatic as a player to see sf4 and not just that , its the fact that it brings back yesteryear memories of sf2 which happens to be my favorite street fighter. The jump in to 3D wasnt really briliiant.

I hope this game lives up to my expectations.

I have a question though....the anime that is being used for the game marketing, is it really part of the game or are they just using it for promotional purposes?????
Please let me know because if the anime is in the game then this game is going to be even more kick ass than i imagined....

There is going to be a Collectors Edition released with the anime which retails for œ59.99 at Amazon and Play. The standard edition will not have the anime though.

Just to add also, the anime will be supplied on a Blu-ray disc with the PS3 Collectors Edition, while the Xbox 360 version will come with an Xbox 360 game-disc that outputs at HD resolution. So, they are in effect the same product (although some may prefer to have a bluray for obvious reasons).

Not its not in the standard SF4 game, we already said that.

The DVD is an anime that is separate from the cut-scenes within the game. I mean they are tied together Im sure, but the anime deals with the events leading up to SFIV.

Ill send Tenebra a PM and find out. At the moment Im guessing it wont be. I suppose it depends on the contents of the anime itself. Is it in-game mashup stuff or more? Im guessing more since its meant to be a filler of the story plus a decent length. The anime ingame are quite short and hardly make a decent motion picture if mashed together.

I got my CE yesterday and although Ive only seen snippets of the anime because I havent watched it all yesterday, I do agree that the artist for SF2 was much better than the one theyve used for this. The characters look a little too cartoony.
