View Full Version : Favourite control method
Just wondering what y'all use, I use an original Gamecube pad, probably the most comfortable pad ever. :D

I'm using the classic controller.
Classic controller has DELIGHTFUL Analog sticks. <3
They click when you reach a hit-point, so performing 360's without jump-buffering has never been easier.
I will vote once I get the Arcade stick but at this moment I'm using the Classic Controller Pro
I plan to get an arcade stick, but I don't really know when, and there's the remote chance that I get too used to my dear sweet Classic Controller to the point that I can't use anything else, so Classic Controller gets my vote.
Playing with arcade stick, i find pad really difficult to use for fighting games^^
I've not tried the arcade stick (haven't had the money to purchase it) but for me the classic controller works great anway as the d-pad is very responsive.
The wiimote nunchuk control scheme sounds very odd though for a fighting game. lol
You guys use the d-pad on the Classic?
Am I the only one using the analog? XD

For me the d-pad just seems more responsive... I'm not that great at this game yet though! lol
I've played Guilty Gear on analogs for far too long XD
Still, I'm going to try the Wiimote+Nunchuck combo someday, just for kicks.
Stick. Too bad there isn't an actual arcade release for this game.
I used to use the Snes pad for CGH.
all you guys using the nintendo nintendo plus style d pads must have seamstress thumbs, that sounds like thumb tourture to me! Personally i'll use my hori stick until i bother to get a nicer stick working on the wii or maybe a 360 pad if i can get one to work.

I'm using a classic controller pro. It just seems to work best for me.
If I could find a stick, I'd give that a go.
I just got the stick today and it rocks so that get's my vote but the Clasic Controller Pro is a good alternative though that what I was using untill I got the Arcade Stick

There was in Japan, lucky sods.
The Classic Controller with D-Pad really is bliss with this game. I never thought I'd use anything but a Gamecube pad, but after a quick try with a friend's Classic, I was hooked. The Gamecube's tiny d-pad gave me sore thumb after some hefty sessions. Also, I couldn't effectively Baroque on the Gamecube pad. I thought I was being a bit of a moron, but after playing in on a Classic, I can blame the pad. The button set up is far more intuitive on this, you can reach any button pivoting from the 'B' button.

For the first TVC but not the re-release.
