Hey monumental, i've read that the release date will be on 19 march 2010. Can you confirm this or was it a mistake ?

Sounds like Play.com need to update their dates.
Correction - the release date is still March TBC, there was a mistake on the PS3 game page. It's now been amended. We should be able to announce the actual release date shortly.

So amazon have finally listed MotoGP 09/10 for sale - http://www.amazon.co.uk/MotoGP-09-10-Xbox-360/dp/B00378KP6Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1265465072&sr=8-1
and also have the release date listed as 19th March - does this now make it official?

We’re pleased to confirm that MotoGP 09/10 will be released across North America on 16th March and Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 19th March with players able to update the game with all the 2010 season content, including the new Silverstone track and team updates, shortly after launch for free of charge.
The official Moto GP 09/10 demo will be released before launch on PSN and XBLA. Date to be confirmed.
it's going to be strange racing on the new Silverstone track layout but i do like it.
