I just got Lips and a couple of mics today. It appears you can't quieten the original lyrics, so you're basically singing along rather than kareoke. And some of the timings are ridiculous; even when the original artist is pausing for air, you're expected to keep going!
Singstar is 10 times better. Shame you can't doanload songs on the PS2 version.
Never played either. Not my type of game and I don't like to embarrass myself knowing I can't sing lol
I like having a mic on Rock band (Lego edition tbh, that one has great rock songs. 8) ) and singing.
Dunno about lips, but Charmed_69 is a pretty big fan of that game, since I see him playing it from time to time. xD
Needs more disney karaoke 8B
And here's another thing: When you're browsing the tracks, it brings up a preview. You can't disable it, and it blocks the view of every other song ):

yeah I dont like those games where singing is all you do, I play rock band as I can do some shredding on expert guitar and sing along to my fav tunes, they have a massive catalogue of downloadable songs so theres always something to suit my tastes for whatever mood im in
