Capcom is pleased to confirm that PlayStation 3 owners will be able to experience action from two levels of˙the highly anticipated Resident Evil 5 ahead of its March 13th release date. The demo will be available for˙European registered PSN users to download free of charge from Monday 2nd February. As in the full game, the demo offers˙three levels of co-op play: single-player with AI support, two-player split-screen on a single PS3˙and two-player across PSN.

As a reminder the˙demo will be available to download from Xbox Live from Monday 26 January.

demos are getting better and better, i never expected a demo to have co-op online, thats really cool.

Thanks for the update, Ten, I make sure to mark that so I can try it out on the PS3 and compare it on both systems :)
Capcom have been very good on releasing demos for each game that has been released this gneneration. I just wonder if theyll continue the momentum for other games coming out this year (BC for example).

No, Nabil has stated before that he bought it from someone online and that he got it in the post, etc.

So its either a copy of the demo that has been burnt to disc and sold on to people that cant wait a few weeks, or is an official demo that came with the PS3 in Japan.

It was the special demo disc that PS3 owners got in Japan when they first bought the console.

I see nthing wrong with importing a Demo.

I did the same with RE4 when Famitsu got an exclusive demo.

Actually those demo discs usually have a warning not for sale stick to them, so if yours has it it was sold illegally, but Im guessing nobody will go to jail for that :lol:

Thank God we finally have a date for the demo, cant wait, hope I dont get disappointed like in the Alone In the Dark demo...
