Then you wont be able to go into Tesco. Seriously Who on earth would shop in their nightwear?

The spokesman said: "We're not a nightclub with a strict dress code, and jeans and trainers are of course more than welcome.
"We do, however, request that customers do not shop in their PJs or nightgowns.
"This is to avoid causing offense or embarrassment to others."
I am offended by your spongebob squarepants jammys
I remember we dared our friend to go into the garage with a pipe and "smoking jacket" (dressing gown). The guy behind the counter wasn't fazed at all...

Haha. I wonder if you are allowed to roam tesco with just boxers XD
Now what am I gonna do this weekend?!
I promise you, over the years I've seen quite a few people wearing pijamas and slippers going to their corner shop  Consider that I don't even do gardening without full make up on (oh, the vanity :p)

:chin:A good way to make Tenebra stay in the house, hide her make up :D *hint to Mr. Tenebra*

I don't even pick up the post without first doing my hair!
Also, the moon. It chases me.....everywhere I go at night, it's there. :p
The squirrels and the moon are plotting against us Ten. :(
Well it was posted in a store in Cardiff, and I lived in south wales for 3 years, a fair few people do walk around in pj's heck i've seen people walk around in fluffy slippers too.
Although I saw that in aldershot the other day, they were fluffy pig slippers O_o
I know my dad often goes to the garage in his pyjamas late at night to get milk or whatever but just wears a jacket on top. Nothing really wrong with it to be honest. Barefoot on the otherhand leads to hygene issues, airports dont allow people to be barefooted.

Don't they know the flashy Hollywood movies taught people that it is okay to go around in pyjamas?
I would not even dare to go out without the right clothes let alone in pyjamas.
There is an actual rule at work about people wearing shoes/trainers at all times. :)
What, are everyone's feet as bad as yours?:chin:
I mentioned this to my mum earlier and she found it funny, she figures it's hardly more an offensive and embarrassment to customers than the ever skimpier clothing young ladies wear these days anyhow. :chin:

My accomodation is right next to the Asda...needless to say, most of the students I see in the mornings (or early afternoon) go shopping in their pyjama's.
Quite entertaining really.

as a supermarket employee, I have to admit that Ive seen many a people in very strange get ups before. Im also one of these people.
Apparently your not allowed to be shirtless as it's a hygene standard, but people seem to waver this one if you have a good body....
Also I've been shopping without footwear on, I dont really see the problems with this other than getting wierd looks, it's not like I go rubbing fruit and meat on my feet then putting it back on display

Yeah I suppose running around the shop with the sweat splashing against the food is not a good idea when you are shirtless :P

I never knew it had actually been banned in stores. Personally I don't think I have ever seen someone going shopping in PJs, though can't say I have often went shopping really early in the morning.
