I Have been hearing alot of nerving things for us UK and EU Street Fighter fans, seems as if the Collectors Edition is only for Japan and the only other way to get it is to order through Capcom Unity Store. Problem is they don't dispatch to the UK or EU.
Capcom please understand there are a load of people here that want to buy this product and I among others beg that you make this edition available in the UK/EU regions.

Yeah I'd also quite like to see a special edition.

Street Fighter 4 collectors edition was the best collectors edition I ever bought (aside from the LotR extended DVDs). Instead of having something useless like a metallic box or some cards with artwork. It had a full 40min anime DVD! That's what I call a must buy!
I want the collectors edition in France/EU. But I want the same collector's in EU. We didn't have the SFIV soundtrack and the anime's box.
And please, we want the Juri's movie on 360/PS3.

Sorry no plans to release the Japanese CE in the UK, either through stores or the website (which at present we don't have the ability to sell goods through). Your best chance to get hold of one is probably ebay or via an import specalist, although we might be giving a couple away as a comp prize if we get our hands on.
We spoke to several retailers who indicated there was no demand for a European Collectors Edition to be released.
Enough with the negativity... we will be offering some geniune can only get them in Europe & the US pre order incentives. Japanese SSFIV fans will be spitting feathers!

I hope that 1 of those is the anime for Super Street Fighter IV because it was advertised on the Xbox 360 UK Marketplace, not having it here would be like advertising something that for another country.

That's too bad. I was really really hoping to see a CE. I hope we at least get the anime in some way. Like someone said, it would be misleading to having it appear on the UK 360 dashboard (In English, despite it supposedly not being available outside of Japan) but not have it come with the game over here. I don't understand how retailers can say that there is no interest in a CE when the CE of SFIV was sold out pretty quickly. Luckily, I preordered that and had it on day of release lol.
I was going to pre order but wanted to wait and see if a CE was coming but now that it's not, I want to know what this pre order incentive is. I wont expect anything fantastic. No way would EU & US get something amazing the Japanese fans wont get. I think, at best, it'll be a free download of a costume pack. I hope it is something that causes feathers to be spat, though.

I'm all up for this..Please capcom let has have the limted version or at least the anime!....We need the anime, even if its dlc..
And i hope that we in EU get the japanese cover for the game...

Speak with Swedish retrailers, they never no. SF 4 is big here! Plus its the only reason why I will buy a Ps 3!

I still believe that they are going to release it to Europe.
It was the same thing with the first one.
But they released it.
And ofcourse the sales will be more in Europe than Japan.
So i guess that Capcom will consider that fact and be smart.

Sorry Guys there is no collectors edition for Super Street Fighter IV for Europe.
Hopefully the super cheap price £24.99 in a lot of places and some of the awesome pre order stuff, only available in the UK, will go some way towards not getting it in Europe.

If they bring out a collector edition i hope this time its available on xbox 360.
Cant help feeling a little let down on this, here in Norway theres no pre-order bonuses and its selling for almost the same as a full price game. 400NOK (45£) online and 500NOK (55£) in retail stores.. would gladly pay that price (or even more) for a CE, but hate to pay that when other contries get the game and bonus items for half the price.
At least make the anime availible for download or something, i own every other SF anime and most of the SF mangas and would love to have the new one in my collection.

When it comes to Street Fighter's CE i'm mostly interested in the Anime BD they are about to include. If they are not planning to include the new Anime OVA on the CE, then the can keep it for them selfs for all I care...

Although its says 'Physical/Boxed Game Titles are limited to shipping inside the United States, Canada and Mexico only' I have ordered a few things from unity before (press kits) and I live in the UK!
I selected the option to ship to Mexico (UPS Express) but then filled out all my actual address shipping details to my UK address. It sounds crazy but its worked twice for me (and UK customs never charged me anything additional either).
It such a shame that we aren't getting this in the EU though as I haven't got the extra cash to import this badboy! :(

At least you get the costume pack! I also wanted to preorder it from game but then I read "UK only" :(! Just my luck...
The Dojo Edition looks really nice :eek:! I've also considered importing the Japanese CE for around 80 € but then the DVD which shows how to clear the trials is missing.
My "ultimate edition" would be rather simple: The game + a Street Fighter figurine (not like the Street Fighter IV CE) + the bonus DVD which shows how to complete the trials + and maybe the anime! Or just the game and an awesome artbook!
So it looks like I'll just get the game!

Well there are 360 games that are multi-region (ghostbuters, Arkham Asylum, Metro 2033 etc) - but I'm not sure about SSFIV?
I've allways been a fan of the grey market importing of games and movies as sometimes games are either much cheaper, come out much earlier (games like Brawl on the wii came out about 7 months earlier then in Pal territories!), or have exclusive special editions (like SSFIV) etc.
edit: I quick search of play-asia reveals that the SSFIV SE is region locked on the 360 - but for PS3 its region free!

I'm going to make do with my Pal vanilla version of the game though (well excpet the pre-order unlockable costumes - but I believe these should be part of the original content anyway!). ...The Juri flash drive and watter bottle look fantastic though! :( ...but ebay is your friend!
I know ps3 is region free
but the dlc is region specific
the disc is region free but the game is bound to a region (i have a few us games and they are not compatible with eu dlc, wich is pretty anoying since i paid for the dlc, but cant use it)
with playstation they fragmented the stores so each region has its own store (you can bypass it if you create a US psn account and buy the us dlc, but i already have the eu sf4 (ce))

Here's an update from s-kill regarding Dojo Edition availablity (posted this afternoon):
I hear you re: these requests, and all I can say is that I know the store worked on a lot of different scenarios to try and get content for the Dojo Edition. Still no word on the fate of the soundtrack or movie in the West, unfortunately :(
The Dojo may not be for everyone, but if you are thinking about it, don't think too long--when I talked to Darin yesterday, they were on the verge of selling out both PS3 and X360. They won't last through the weekend.

and since SSF4 and SF4 would be compatible (the additional costumes I already purchased) I'm wondering if EU store content works with US games (since i got a couple of US games wich i purchased DLC for via the EU store, only to find out its not compatible, and psn-store won't give me a refund for the non compatible dlc i bought)
Please help me out here. Me and some friends are HUGE SF fans and we would like to order the dojo edition (if its still possible), but we need to know asap if its compatible or not.

PS3 games are region free but DLC is not. So if you buy a US game you can only use DLC from the US store. Sure you can download it from the EU store but the game wont register it then. I had to find out the hard way.

Well its ok. If you look at the Dojo Edition i think its way overpriced. The game sells for 40 dollars in the US and they want 80 dollars for the Dojo Edition. So 100% more plus shipping. If they charge 100% more i think they could pay for the shipping at least. But of course they know that there are enough fanboys who pay for it.
But you need to take a look what you get:
All items there are just merchandise with some artwork printed on them. Honestly i think a fair price for it would be max. 15 dollars. The SF4 CE was much better.

PS3 games are region free but DLC is not. So if you buy a US game you can only use DLC from the US store. Sure you can download it from the EU store but the game wont register it then. I had to find out the hard way.

An update on the Dojo edition from Sven:
"Because we'd sold out of our initial assumed production run within about three days of putting it in the store (and one day of posting it on Unity), Darin has doubled the number of the original production run.
The additional allocation is also nearly sold out, with less than about 200 units as of Friday afternoon unspoken for.
While Darin may be able to get a few more into production, Darin have to see if anything we manufacture now can actually hit the release date in time. I know that's critical for fans and if we can't hit that timeline, we probably won't expand production further."

We're not getting a Dojo Edition or any kind of collector's edition. It would've been announced by now if we were. We're just getting the pre-order bonuses.
Which is fine by me as I can't afford a collector's edition right now. :p Disappointing for the people who would've liked one though. :(
