I was browsing through NeoGaf earlier and came across a rather clever and imaginative thread. The idea was to come up with magazine spreads advertising a game chosen by the author.

I'd link but it contains a lot of bad language which would be unsuitable for here so we'll end it there.

The thread turned in to quite a success, with even PlatinumGames taking notice and giving t-shirts to 10 folks with the best MadWorld ad (ads were chosen by the director of the game himself).

So I thought, why not do something here? Why not create a thread where you can all show off your talents?

All images must be magazine spread/poster-type images
All images must be based on a Capcom game
Preferably link the image to prevent any page-stretching/poor loading for others

You can use any program (Photoshop, Paint, etc.) but the main thing to take in to account is being original. Do not go on Google and just rip something off. Let's see YOUR ideas and how YOU would advertise a Capcom game.

Nothing wrong with a bit of satire. A bit of humour might help spice up some ideas providing they are appropriate for the forum and nothing rude/profane.

I was going to do one for Dead Rising 2 anyway, but might do one for Lost Planet 2 as well. We'll see. :D

Marketing and Advertising would be such a good thing to get into, on the design side.

I'm still working on my Custom Fighter vs Capcom entry, and trying to sort some things out for the events that I'm setting up, so if it's soon, I better try and fit this in as well. :)

kay so I saw this thread at around half six today and decided I do a doodle, this then became more and more....it's a topical take on the new news about Lost Planet 2 for xbox...took me about 3 hours, all from scratch on a tablet

alright, i tried to make one in the style of the ads for street fighter 4, but... well, i kind of cant really do it (and i noticed it did something weird with the colors while copying the images, but i dont want to do everything again...), but since i made it i might as well show it...

Well, I made this one with PhotoShop Elements 7.0, but I don't know if it is ok for joining, because the text below the logo SSFIV is copied from the official site for information, and as advertising text I only wrote myself the 3 lines above. (Sorry if there are mistakes in :s)

It's OK too for the add if you think this is fine to show, but you should also ask to Capcom Europe if it is ok for this.

Thanks for Recognition :redface: - no, if you hit resident evil into google you see the one with the gun - it's the red, and the brownish is from the one with the narrow alley. The Title fitted in and I didn't even have to resize it - it looked even scarier (or scary at all) without all the stuff around...
