In a collaboration with Capcom, American game developer Epic is lending Gears of War (http://kotaku.com/tag/gearsofwar/)'s main characters Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago to upcoming action title Lost Planet 2 (http://kotaku.com/tag/lostplanet2/). The appearance of both Gears characters in Lost Planet 2 was revealed in a trailer shown today at Xbox Japan's Capcom event...................................

Personally, I think this is awesome. I loved Gears and seeing them in LP2 makes me want the game even more ^^
I hope they have some part in the story, that'd be REALLY interesting.

just saw this on the xbox dashboard, I love the fact that thier in the game! it's nice to see cross overs like this.
PS. I hope they have some diologue. Be awesome to blow up some Akrid and hear Gruffalo say one of his cheesey one liners......nice

The Gears characters are on the 360 only for obvious reasons.
Frank West on the other hand is a Capcom character so we can use him where ever we like! See Tatsunoko Vs Capcom on the Wii as a good example.
Ah, I see.
Although Frank West was in Chop Til You Drop on Wii, so Tatsunoko Vs Capcom sorta made sense.
The Gears characters are on the 360 only for obvious reasons.

I think the PC version is safe territory since Gears is available on PC.
i always thought lost planet was xbox 60 exclusive, no?
or the first one might have been :chin:
It was for a while, then it got ported on PS3, now the sequel is going on both formats.
