I buy the Xbox 360 for dead rising?, it s my great question i have wii and ps3 but that game must be very good don t think?
it is a very good game but buying a 360 for just one game is a bit expensive.
Their are many other good games on 360 you could also try.

M8, buy Dead Rising on Wii instead of buying a new console.

As good as Dead Rising is...its not a console seller.
Dont go out and get a 360 just for Dead Rising, as the game gets incredibly repetative and boring after a while.
I havent touched my copy in over a year now...

Dead Rising is available on the Wii. I dont think you should buy it just for Dead Rising. Its a good game, but personally I find the save mechanism too taxing for me. Great fun, but Ive never been able to get far in it. Bar that one huge obstacle to me, its good, but not a console seller. DMC4 and RE5 on the other hand, and Street Fighter HD Remix.. b)
Im actually quite fond of Dead Rising, I have some good memories but I think this would cloud my judgment on this subject.
But I reckon that while it may not be a console seller, its certainly worth a play through at least once and its cheap so it wont be costly mistake, the first play through is by far the best because the character you play is weak and theres a genuine need to survive, but after a while, the character gets overly strong and killing zombies loses its fun after both the Genocide and 5 Week survivor achievements.
Verdict:
Buy it with something else that youre more than likely to enjoy.
[Edit] I mean, Buy Dead Rising with one other game, that way you wont miss out.

I wouldnt just consider buying only one game for just a console, my fine old bean, I think you should consider some other games to add to your catalogue. A few I would recommend would be what genres you have a taste to explore; it could be survival horror, third-or-first person shooters, or anything you want to explore.
I would suggest you try out these following games below, from my own personal experience:-
Mass effect
Lost planet
Bionic commando rearmed (this is if you don t have it on any other system)
Gears of war 1-2
Lost odyssey
Braid
The orange box
Left 4 dead
These are only a few titles from my catalogue that I still enjoy playing today, but this is only my personal preference. :)

Personally if I buy a console I may buy it just because theres a game I like.
I bought my PS2 because my PS1 and DreamCast died, so I needed a new console. I played MH on my PS2, when I found out that MHF2 will come out on the PSP (I didnt want to play Freedom, its basically the same thing). So I bought a PSP JUST to play MHF2, but I play many games on it (but I spend most of my time with MHF2 :) ). Since then I got an XBOX360, and will get a Wii because of MH3 (JUST for MH3, but I will play more games on it :) )
And now for some thoughts: When someone has 5 cars, but can only ride one of them; someone has 3 houses but he could be in only one of them; its THEIR money, so what I bought is my money.
What Im trying to tell is: If you want to buy an XBOX360 then do it, its your decision, your money :)
Just wait for Dead Rising 2 innit.
I would buy them both, so you know how it all started out, I mean they wont explain it a second time will they, Dead Rising 2 will probably be like Resi, your some guy in a diffrent place in Willamette at the same time as Frank is in the mall, seeing the same game from another perspective works quite well.
