Hi,

How do I install Dark Void on the PC as the installer prematurely ends after installing the prerequisite runtimes and PhysX.
Looking at the setup.ini file on my CDROM I notice that the line 'RequireExactLangMatch=0404,0804' is requiring that my language is Chinese (PRC or Taiwan) and the next line below 'RTLLangs=0401,040d' is requiring Arabic or Hebrew. Why is this? I thought this game was supposed to be the International version (setup.ini shows the line 'Name=INTL') and not the Asian version?

Please help!

Try running the installer in compatibility mode with some older windows version, like XP SP3 or Vista SP2 (if you're running Windows 7). Also run it as administrator. See if that helps anything. If you're wondering how to do this, just rightclick the setup/installer (exe) file and hit the "compatibility" tab. You'll see all those options in there.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think I had a similar problem with Street Fighter IV. I was installing it, right? And then suddenly I'm not installing it anymore. I wasn't looking at the screen, so I don't know what happened. I thought maybe I must have accidently pressed space which possibly made the installer cancel or something, but there was no "are you sure you want to cancel" box either. So as far as I can figure, the installer just shut down at some point for no reason. So I just started it up again a second time and then it installed the game properly (I may have used admin mode the 2nd time, I just can't remember). I doubt that's of any help to you, but your problem might explain what happened with my SF4 installation.

Also, my Resident Evil 5 installer was in Japanese and I have yet to figure out why. I know I bought the international version, but it was still in Japanese and I couldn't change language until I had installed the game and opened the launcher. But hey, at least my games installed.

It's always something, with these Capcom games. I don't think they like PC gamers much.
