Im sure we have all seen that amazing trailer for monster hunter tri on the wii, and from that all my fears that it wont work as well on the wii were washed away however i always hoped and believed that its life would go on to a more powerful console, i mean i love nintendo but i love monster hunter more so I am more than a little worried that a port of Monster Hinter G (this will please blood im sure) will be comming to the Wii in spring time, tho again im sure it will be great but does this secure its stay on the wii? and if so is that a good thing?

What are your thoughts on either Monster hunter G being ported to the wii or Monster hunters future with the console?

Makes perfect sense, so I can possibly enjoy the whole series on the Wii! :)

My thoughts on MHG is that i finished it on PS2 and its exactly the same as MH1 except the new colors of wyverns, which are almost only online available. I wouldnt like a G port to Wii, its too old, i dont wanna play the same game again. Instead of doin that id like to see a new part on PSP or a 360 version. But actually im fine with MH3, im importing 3 if theres no IP restriction like on Frontier, ill buy a JPN Wii which is very cheap and play on the JPN servers ( if its for free ). When the PAL version comes ( probably 1 year later, like they did with the others ), ill buy it again to play with europeans.

What i think about a Next Gen MH is, that MH3 is Next Gen lol. MH doesnt need realistic graphics or anythin like that. But if they ll develop one, i hope its comin to 360, with a lot of DLC and Gamerscore, Headset compatible ( also the good old Keyboard ) and a lot to do like in every MH.

Ill just wait and see what they do, my greatest fear is that they open servers and close them down after some years, like MH.
PS and xbox work well with kai after all so... i believe it all depends on how they do it ^^
To be honest i was a bit disappointed with what ive seen so far, i was expecting them to do more with the wii mote since they chose wii X_X
Im not saying i dont like the game because of it, i still love it but, meh, expecting a bit more.
But then again, they can still add more and theres many things i havent seen yet.
I would have liked to see how it would come out on ps3 but to be honest, but i dont think better graphics are really a necessity on mh series.

Well, as the development costs upon the PS3 are extortionate and the 360 is a Western Console: the Wii is the only rightful home of Monster Hunter 3, to be honest. I have heard many tell tale of the fact they were expecting more from Monster Hunter 3 but what I wish to know is: why? The Monster Hunter team never strived for realism and even for a PS2 game the graphics were very basic. The 2d backdrops gave the illusion of space and detail, yet they were essentially a projection upon the invisible walls surrounding each area(which became noticeable as soon as you used your binoculars.)

So when people say they were expecting more from the game I am always somewhat puzzled. :?:

you know what, I would be happy with it if it was half as good as MHF2
besides, on Wii you dont just press buttons, you get to actually fight the monsters by moving, and as well as being a hell of a lot funner its sounds sick!
And so what if the PS3 has better graphics? Graphics arent what people pay attention to when playing games, they car about what actually happens and how fun it is. The PS3 is just a rip off when you can get games for Xbox 360 or Wii with graphics which are incredibly close. I would go with one of these if it came to graphics or value for money (or fun factor with wii). In that view, I would say that MH3 will be great for wii

i think that a port to wii wouldnt be too bad but ive also heard that its monster hunter tri is only a special edition on wii, although sionce i have a wii, i wouldnt mind more then one mh port over to it.

man...I love ps3( and I own one of course) and I would love to see a new installment of MH on ps3 but I get the fact that the cost to make one for the ps3 would be to much so I am ok with it coming out on the wii. i dont have a wii yet but if a monster hunter game comes out in europe for wii I am buying one just for MH. a wii aint that expensive eitherway and most of my friends have a wii....hmmm...I might finally find people who live close by to game with..hehheheheehe

if I a monster hunter game comes out in europe on the wii. I am gonna annoy the s**t out of all my friends that have a wii to get the MH game....hehehehehehehheheehheehehe

1 thing i know for sure is that i will most definitely get all gaming consoles, since i dont wanna miss out on any good games, im just glad they still intend to continue with the MH franchise (i need moar!!!)

Though i would love to see more on the PS3 or Xbox 360 (with their more powerful graphics) as I am a type of gamer that can be wooed by graphics too =P (imagine realistic explosions and SFX in fights!! @_@ omg)

whats the point in getting all of the gaming consoles?
Wii is one thing, but PS3 and Xbox 360 are pretty much the same-except from graphics they pretty much have the same games as well

Well, im a fan of MGS, and final fantasy (in which versus XIII and MGS4 are PS3 exclusives) while i also love Halo =p which is Xbox exclusive. Im a gamer, so i want to enjoy all the good games regardless of console =p

wii is a good choice, though from the gamepay preview i got a bit disapointed, since i had higher hopes on what they would do with the wiimote, i believe this is the best console for mh to go on, the graphics arent what hunters search for, we want good games, and thats what we are having, if the game were to heavily invest on graphics, the costs of graphic development would go up, and we know what happened to most games that went that path, i want a good game, the graphics are fine the way they are.

I agree, good graphics dont always make a good game
