Well with there being not much time before the release of TVC:UAS, I though it would be good to have something for those who don't know how to connect their Wiis to the internet.
There are three main ways of getting online and I'll cover all of them.
Wireless connection
This one is probably the easiest to set up
Turn on your Wii and wireless router
On the Wii menu to "Wii options which on the bottom left of the screen.
On the next screen click "Wii System Settings" and then click the arrow on the right before going to "Internet"
Go to "Connection Settings"
This screen will show you slots for three different connections. Go to one of them.
Choose "Wireless Connection" and then go to "Search of Access point"
Once it's done searching it should show a list of available access points. Choose the one for your router.
Save the settings and test the connection.
If it works, you'll be all set. However, if it asks you to download an update, you should.
You can also do it manually. for that just go to the "Manual Setup" menu an enter your settings.
USB connection
You can create a wireless connection using the Wi-Fi USB Connector. This is cold seperately and you use it though an active PC connected to the internet. It was made to work with Windows XP/Vista so it might not work with Windows 7.
Turn on your PC and router. Then install the software.
Once installed, insert the USB connector into a USB port on the PC.
Go to "Internet" on the Wii Settings menu.
Select an open slot and select "Wireless Conection".
Now go "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector"
Make sure everything is ready on the PC. You should see the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection logo on the task bar.
Test the connection and if it works you're set.
Wired Connection
You can do a wired connection as well (some fighter players prefer this). For this you need to get the Wii LAN Adapter. (http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/3354480/Official-Nintendo-Wii-LAN-Adapter/Product.html)
Connect the Ethernet cable from your router/setup to LAN Adapter and connect to on of the USB ports on the back of the Wii.
Turn your Wii on and the the router.
Note: I only say this as routers can be a bit fussy when it comes to consoles. If there's a problem, turn the router off and check the connection. If the Ethernet light on the router is on, you're good.
Go to "internet" the Wii settings menu.
Select an open option and go to "Wired Connection"
Test the connection, if it works you're fine. Download an update if it asks you too.
That's the basics of it. It will carry over into compatible games such as SSBB, Mariokart, Castlevainia Judgement and of course TVC.

update will come when the games out
