God dam it capcom europe, why do you hate New Zealand? Why did you not release Street FighterAlpha Warriors Dreams for PS1 on the New Zealand PSN store like you did for Europe. For the stupid fanboys that will attack me 777 etc, New Zealand is part of the SCEEs regions.

There is a ponit bumping because capcom delete threads that havent been active for a month or more.

If there was any news it would have been posted. No information on games is released here before the press have the information anyway so it would be easily researchable once the press knows. The administrators can not release information discreetly here because if the public media does not yet have the info, then it is still a company secret.

There is no point bumping topics because firstly the other threads that may be being contributed in get lowered for a brainless post and secondly because over-persistance just gets peoples backs up.

Who are Capcom Europe going to release this information to? Kotaku wont post it because its already out in America, its already out in japan and in Europe, there is not much point telling the NZ sites because they are so small. The only place it isnt out is New Zealand and Australia. The game has been cleared for SCEE regions which New Zealand and Australia is a part of whether you like it or not.

The game has been classified by the New Zealand OFLC (our games rating broad) and has been approved for release in PAL regions by SCEE. So why isnt it on the New Zeland store?

If they arent going to release it on the New Zeland store then thats fine just tell me god dam it. I WANT to pay for it but if it is not going to be rleased on the NZ store then I will just d/l it off the net for free.

Whats the ponit delaying it JUST for NZ/Austrila? The Street Fighter 4 release has been pushed back a few months because capcom distrubuter has gone out of business. I know capcom europe are saying it wont be delayed but my family member that works there says they dont have enough money to even pay the rent of the building let alone stock and there credit of maxed out.

We dont delete anything at all, old threads simply get automatically pushed down and eventually leave the first page.
Still no news, Im afraid.

As for SFIV, there are no plans to delay the release in Australia and NZ at the moment.

I posted this last week as soon as i got in my mail box

No delays expected.

Certain recent news reports have speculated that owing to the financial status of
Red Ant, Capcom s distributor in Australia, that the release dates of Capcom s
forthcoming titles in this territory may be delayed. Capcom would like to state it
does not expect any such delays and to reconfirm the following release dates: Street
Fighter IV (PS3&360) - February 20th, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop (Nintendo Wii)
- February 27th, Resident Evil 5 (PS3 & 360) - March 13th. Future titles such as
MotoGP (Nintendo Will) and Neopets Puzzle Adventure (DS, Wii & PC) are all scheduled
to release in line with other PAL territories.

Kind Regards
Capcoms European PR Team

This is a shame really, I was really excited to get some Alpha action before SF4 and I thought thisd be the perfect opportunity.

Didnt realise that it wasnt actually out in Australia yet =/

Have you even asked Sony or the person at capcom europe that is in charge of putting stuff on the store why it no on the Aussie or NZ stores? Have you TOLD SCEE it not on the store because we are part of SCEE and if it gets approved to be on the UK store it is approved to be on the NZ/Aussie store

Tenebra is doing what she can.

Unfortunalty she has more to do than chase up a game so she has to manage her time to do her job.
As soon as she has some new information she will post it.

And just becourse a game gets approved for the UK store does not give it automatic approvel for New Zeland or Australia as different laws goven the countrys. Not sure about New Zeland but Australia has strickter laws than the UK.

I have checked it has already been given a rating PG which is like an american teen rating. Plus under new zealand law we accept the UK rating system so it doesnt need to be classfied unless it is a R18 plus game

Edit SPIKE: Please don't talk of ilegal downloads. Capcom there are over 1 million PS3 owners in New Zealand and aussie, you just left a whole lot of money on the table at $9.50 a pop for PS1 games that is potentially 9.5 MILLION dollars (3 million British pounds) you left on the table.

I'm sure they can survive a few predictions here and there.

As i have said befor New Zealand does have a different board of clasification than the UK like all of europe has their own board of clasification on all media.

Over 1 million Ps3 in Newzealand but how many would buy it?

Have you also though it could be also Sony's fault like they delayed SF 2 in europe?
