Afternoon All,
To celebrate the launch of TvC we're running yet another one of our ace competitions!
We are asking you to design and create your very own Capcom vs fighting series character! Submit your drawing in this thread and we'll choose the three most creative entries.

To clarify, we're after a totally original character straight from your imagination, not from an existing franchise.
I'm going to move these posts to a discussion thread as this needs to be kept exclusively for submissions.
Just a question on what is actually being asked here.
Do you want us to do something like, Capcom VS The Nintendo for example, and then draw a picture of Mario?
Or do you want to come up with our own original character to have them fight?
To clarify - We're after a Capcom Vs a fighting character of your own creation (i.e. something never seen before).

He's a ninja cat called 'Killer Kitty' and is armed with deadly balls of wool.
With his feline mutant powers of wool I reckon he'd fit in quite well to the random Capcom Tatsunoko world. :D

This character is called Focu, he is a Fire Elemental Spirit in humanoid form.
Possible move set (depending on balancing):
* Fire ball in form of a sword slash
* fire rising ground pound
* Flame kick + in-air (like C Viper from SF4)
* form of dragon punch, but with the flame sword
* sliding flame slash
* flame-tricity

* Fire rising wave (a bit like Magneto's super from MVC2)
* falling volcano magma rain
* Super rising sword with flame spiral (like Kens from MVC2, SF3, SF4)

Hii, I'm 14 years old and this is my entry..
The Capcom side contains Chun-Li, Megaman, Data, and Tron Bonne..
The other half contains my very own creations, The Five Planets, which I am currently writing a novel bout.. Queen Clacida, Toya, Viper and the Commander.. (Many many many more charaters though..)
I know that mine isn't as good quality as all of yours but it took me ages to draw it freehand..

Well well, here's my firts entry for this contest:
"The Angry Parents Vs. CAPCOM"

They are Angry Mom & Angry Dad. I drew some sort of basic storyboards for some of their movements:
Angry Dad: He uses his newspaper as a weapon for weak attacks and for coverage during guards, he changes to his belt to whip the opponent in strong attacks.

Angry Mom: She uses her slippers to hit opponents in weak attacks and range attacks and a frying pan for strong hits and guards.

Special Combo Move: As usual in CAPCOM Vs. series you can combine both characters in a powerfull combo attack:

1.- You have to start the movement using Angry Dad; He whips the belt and catches the opponent by the neck.
2.- Pulls the opponent backwards
3.- Places the opponent on his lap and whips the lower part of his back with the belt.
4.- Swap to Angry Mom character, she start yelling to the opponent face (various complains about his friends, gf, music he hears, and the way things are going at school mostly :D) while Angry Dad continues punishing him.
5.- In a strong hit with the pan Angry Mom throws the opponent into the air.
6.- Finally the opponent falls into a student room, right in front of the desk and the combat continues normally as usual.
Hope you like the idea or at least you got some fun from it.

She uses a Swirl Lollipop as a weapon, because she's a weak little girl.
But don't underestimate her!

This is an Warrior Angel named Azerailo, he has a similar move set to Dr Doom in MvC2
he can fly, he has a beam attack, a scatter ray of light attack and a wall of light/shield.
As for supers he has a Super Light Beam and a Super Rays of Light full screen move like Gil from SF3.

Mr Sludge.
He has moves similar to Venom in MvC2, but no web sling throw. In its place he has a sludge ball that momentarily traps the opponent in sludge, similar to Spidey's web ball.

Ok here's my entry I named him The Heavenly Samurai he uses two Samurai Katana's and has compartment in his lower armor for his Japanese Kites which has steel wire that is connected to the back of his armor which he uses to propel himself in the air.

Here's my effort, The concept is that ingame he paints pixels on the screen. So all the paint from the brush comes out pixelated.
Since he is from the Capcom side he needs to come from a game, but also needs to be an original creation so I came up with an idea for a fake game, Capcom's Pixel Power. Just to help justify his look, moveset and concept.
Pixel Perfect his level 3 super, he actually paints the opponent in their classic 2D Sprite form and the eye judges it.
Also his Anti air Pallete swap actually swaps your opponents palette for a short amount of time:

Here comes a new challenger: THE GIANT ENEMY CRAB

It came right from the ancient traditional Japan, since it´s almost totally covered by its armor you'll have to attack its weak point for massive damage. It also features some spikes on its crab claws reverse side for real time weapon change.
During its special attack it catches the opponent with one claw and holds it in the air, pulls one of his legs out his body with the other, dips it on mayonaise and eats it.

Abducted by a couple of hicks who thought they could keep him as a pet, Crock grew to big for his captors to handle. Clawing his way out of the sewers from the toilet they flushed him down, Crock makes his way for a bloody revenge against the hicks that slaughtered his family and disgraced him.

Upset through all his life cause he never got to catch a fish further than his friend's (the real Fisherman) ones, he died drowned claiming out for justice. Now he finally managed to catch one as an undead, he will do anything and fight anybody to protect his prey.
He uses his hook and the net to attack and the fish he just caught in a special attack called Tuna strike.

Escaped from a Circus where it was mistreated, Wally is very angry now cause it don't seem to be able to find any fresh fish in town.
It's a heavy, strong and slow fighter, a bit taller than the average human. It uses almost all its body to fight, wings, tail, teeth and of course it's weight, since it can jump over its opponents. It also can launch the ball it plays with with it's nose or tail to inflic some serious damage.
During its special movement it claps strongly and repeatedly around the opponent's head with its wings while begging for some fish with the typical sounds...

Anna Maria
Fighting style: Kung Fu
She originates from Romania, where her and her family lived their lives as travelling, circus acrobats. Whilst travelling through China, the family welcomed an extremely agile, old man into their group as he possessed acrobatic skills far superior to their own.
Over the years, the then young Anna-Maria was amazed by the old man's skills and asked him how he was able to perform such acrobatic feats even though he was of such a great age. The old man explained that it was partly due to all the fighting he did when he was younger and when he asked Anna-Maria if she would like him to teach her Kung Fu, she was over-joyed.
Years past and Anna-Maria soon tired of the circus scene; all of her passion lay with learning to fight. She seemed to get more of an adreneline rush when sparring, compared walking on tightropes and swinging through the air a few stories high.
One evening, when finishing her performance, she heard part of a conversation between two individuals. Through this, she learned of an upcoming tornament. This was it, this was her chance to prove herself! To bring back that adrenaline rush that she lost though years of practise whilst performing.
She packed her bags, took her leave and ran away from the circus.

Heya guys, My entry is a music group called "Counter Point".
The idea is that the universe they are from is fuelled by music, they use it as energy even weapons etc.
I decided to just choose one group, not entirely sure what genre they are, probably just a mix of different genre in there.
You would play as the singer. The Guitarist and the Drummer would be support characters that you could call in for assisted attacks and combos.

Honour Rank: King

Fighting Style: Baseball Fu - Baseball Fu is a mix between the movement of players in Baseball, and the ancient teachings of Kung Fu.
With this fighting style, trained people can fuse kicks, punches and graceful movement whilst dodging the enemy, and countering back with sheer force.
Many pupils who have undergone this training often carry around sticks, poles, spades, and more commonly, baseball bats. This is because the fighting style focuses on training you to use a blunt weapon, alongside dodges, kicks and all manner of punches, enabling you to get the upper hand in a fight which would otherwise look hopeless.
Siding: Batsugigen (Joke Punishment/punishment of jokes)
Backstory: Cartel was always a guy who loved adventure. Every day he would go out to do parkour, often showing off in front of the local girls, and became known as the King of the streets. He didn't often have luck with the ladies, but one day he met a really nice girl called Felicia.
To him, she was the one, and she loved him as much as he did her. They would go out on adventures together whilst they were both in education, and when they both graduated, they needed a place to stay.
Together they moved into a nice rented house by the beach, but as money was so hard to come by for them, they needed a job.
Felicia (Cartel's girl) applied for a job at an ice cream parlour. It was a nice little place, had friendly people working there, and most importantly, was local. This obviously avoided travel costs.
Cartel however, opted for a more adventurous job, which offered a much bigger pay check.
His actions on the street made him famous, and everyone across the city knew of him. This is how he got the opportunity to enter such a well paid job. One day, shortly after Felicia had started her new job, an elite group of mercenaries called the Criminal Correction Movement (CCM) pulled Cartel off of the street and offered not only a six figure pay check every year, but A class protection towards the love of his life, providing that he was willing to leave the city at times, to go off and work on special covert missions with them.
To Cartel, this sounded amazing, and with no hesitation at all, he signed the contract.
When the time came, Cartel kissed his girlfriend goodbye, and promised he'd be back soon. Felicia started crying, but Cartel was always good at cheering people up. It just came naturally to him. Though deep down, he didn't like the idea of parting from her for a while, and they both knew that they'd miss spending so much time together.
After the goodbye, Cartel had to go to a briefing room, explaining the tasks which he and his team would have to deal with in the not so distant future.
Each member of CCM was then given an ultra tough, blast proof body suit, and being in a world full of vibrant colours and extreme fashion, they were spoiled for choice on the range of colours that were on offer.
The suit was made of a relatively hard, rubbery material, and was strong enough to withstand blasts from grenades, but the real fun was the rest of the outfit, which was yet to come.
This consisted of gloves and a weapon of the employee's choosing, along with a hover pack (capable of allowing the user to blast in the air for a certain period of time) connected to a harness, and some hover shoes, which are powered by plasma, and allow the user to move faster.
After this, the team of CCM arrived at their destination, and almost straight away were being held under fire. Cartel became agitated and ran to where the gun fire was coming from. Then all of a sudden, the firing stopped. The rest of the team approached Cartel, gathering around him, looking like they were ready to kill him.
This confused Car, and as he turned around, one of them hit him in the face. He went to swing back, but couldn't see through all of the blood that was pouring out of his eye. Sadly, the weapon that he was hit with, was poisoned with some kind of green, irradiated liquid.
It seemed to drain his stamina, and he eventually fell down to the ground, where all of his team decided to beat him to a pulp.
His body was mainly ok with a little help from the suit, but his face is what took the biggest beating, and had a very strange outcome. His right eye had turned colour. All Cartel could see from his injured eye was green.
He went on to get up, but his team just didn't seem to want to let him stand.
From the left came a guy in a very smart suit. It was the CEO of the Criminal Correction Movement.
He looked at Car's beaten, bashed up body and spat next to him in disgust. "So I hear you're famous around most places with your free-running and criminal damage that goes with it", said the CEO. He then went on to say that "we don't like people who do that, so you and I are both enemies as of this point in time. Have a listen to this."
*the CEO hands Car his phone*
......Pl....please......please save me Car!!!!! I'm being held at gun point, and I don't know what to do. I love you, and I need you here. Please come back for me! If I don't get through this, then I need you to stay alive and live on. You mean everything to me. I love you!"
*bang*
Cartel heard the gunshot, and knew what the outcome was.
The CEO laughed, told the team to kill Cartel, and then left the scene.
As the men were beating Car, over and over again, something awoke inside of him. It felt like some kind of powerful force, and because he had just suffered listening to the death of his love, Felicia, he was enraged, powering up this force even more.
Cartel climbed to his feet, grabbed his bat and went to town on the team. It was almost as if these guys were kids. They seemed so easy to kill, he didn't even seem to break a sweat.
The area was clear, and all of the team were either dead or in a critical state. It was all over, or at least, that's what Car thought.
All of a sudden a huge rush of energy flooded through his body, and uncontrollably lashed out of him, spanning across a 5 mile radius. The whole town was in devastation, but he himself, didn't have a single scratch on his body.
Six months after this event, Cartel was laying low, and discovered an anti-war group, known as the Underground, or to the locals; Batsugigen.
He became a member, proved his worth, and set out to find out why the Criminal Correction Movement wanted him dead.
After a while, he became able to control his powers, and could manifest green energy in almost any way he wanted to. Whether it was shape, size or consistency, it really didn't matter. In the end though, being a huge fan of baseball, and being quite skilled with a bat, he decided to manifest this energy in the form of a baseball sized sphere of energy.
The Underground Anti-war faction; Batsugigen, were amazed at how he could control this, and saw him as the only person who could bring down CCM.
As a thankyou, the leader Kralm, gave Car a patch for his damaged eye. He had no problem seeing, but was stuck with green vision through one eye. This patch negated that effect with its on screen display, offering the time, a programmable map, and an input system, enabling him to input details of people who he needed to find through a tracking system.
So with that, he headed off in search for some answers!
Weapons:
1. Reinforced glass Baseball Bat with laser technology, and a sharp point for piercing armour and skin.
2. Conjured up Energy Ball
Moves:
High and Low - Uppercut with bat, into a right hook.
Back Burner - Elbow hit, into a back roundhouse kick.
Neutron Burst - Hold the red button down to flick down the end, and fire the bats laser.
Energise - Throw energy Balls at the opponent.
Induce Disheartenment - Prodding stab with the end of the baseball bat.
Batter Up - Straight hit with the bat.
Three Times The Charm - Whilst in air, throw three energy balls diagonally down and forwards.
Downforce - Whilst in air, punch downwards towards the enemy.
Up and Away - Whilst Jumping, kick high into the air for a small launch.
Super Move:
Cartel's Home Run - Conjures up an energy ball, throws it into the air, and blasts it at the opponent with the baseball bat.
Ultra Move:
Hyper Disarray - The glass shaft of the bat breaks apart, and raw energy explodes from the handle, taking up half of the screen, and dealing immense damage.

I would like to present to you guys lady Isabella.
The lovely Isabella was kidnapped on her 5h birthday by a secret organisation focused on psychic abilities research. She was in fact 1 of few human beings who could use brain waves through specific manipulation methods. Through sheer determinations and the promise to be returned home she managed to develop her gift, at the tender age of 7. She found out one day while combing her fabulous hair that she could actually form shapes with it.
After this discovery she carefully planned her scape for months when she finally escaped. During the next few years she became used to living in the streets. When she overheard news of a great evil she thought it could be her big break.
"If I can defeat this great evil it could make it easier to find those who took me when I was 5!"
With this in mind she walked off fueled with hope of being reunited with her family after so many years.

I always loved the idea of Gen from the Street Fighter Alpha series and Street Fighter IV. You could hit all three punches or all three kicks and he'd change his stance, giving you access to completely different movesets. I wanted to extend this to 3 stances, one for offense, one for defense and one to take the piss out of your opponent (like Dan. It's such a great idea, having a character to show off how good you are that you can win with such a weak character with more taunts than actual moves)
That got me thinking, what kind of person would have these three separate fighting styles? Someone with a split personality! The mask idea was to give a visible cue to the change.

This is my entry, hes called Vecis. He stems from a long line of devil hunters, when he was a child a powerful demon tried to steal his body seeing the potential in his genes, saved only by the skill of his clan who could only keep the child alive by sealing the demon within him.
Now older and head devil hunter of his tribe he can momentarily summon the demon's power from within and trusted with his blessed sword he fights to keep his people safe from all harm
His style of play is medium speed offensive, his normals are sword based and quick whilst his specials are a mix of sword and his demonic arm which are slightly slower similar to Ryu in a way meaning his combos arn't too crazy but they are high damaging.
