So at some point in your life, you must have listened to a song that absorbs you. One song I like is Leona Lewis song Twilight it was part of an unreleased album. Damn this song just......makes me want to stare and think about something. How about you guys?

I have favorites depending on what mood im in, some times I need an upbeat song, other times I just want to relax, some of my favorites:

Zen Concrete (Interlude) - Sly & Robbie
I first heard this on the Ghost In The Shell anime DVD in an official AMV on the disc, and was mesmerized by how calm yet haunting it was, I must have nearly burnt out the disc from listening to it over and over from the TV, but I finally found it on a soundtrack called Third World Cop in HMV.

Around The World - Daft Punk
I saw a rather interesting YouTube video with this music, it was a step by step pixel art drawing of a house and I was inspired by it to take up pixel art as a hobby, I always listen to it when im feeling artsy.

Asthma - Mortiis
I like these ambient type songs, they remind me of songs from the 80s on movie soundtracks, this one is especially creepy but has a soothing quality to it.

Suiri - Death Note Original Anime Soundtrack 2
Once again, an ambient song, but I like this one as it reminds of the time when I first saw the Death Note anime a couple of months ago, much to my chagrin it wasnt on the first OST as first thought, after a brief (and rather disturbing) session on Yahoo answers I found out it was on the second OST, although I was annoyed, at least I have two of the OSTs now. :)

When The Man Comes Around - Johnny Cash
Being a zombie fan, I liked this song ever since I saw the opening to the remake of Dawn Of The Dead, its been used as I play zombie games ever since. :P

The Prayer - Bloc Party
Empty Walls - Serj Tankian
Map Of The Problematique - Muse
When You Where Young - The Killers
The River - Good Charlotte

Ive listened to these songs at work between 2006 and 2008 at work on the radio and liked them, they remind me of some good times, late nights with strong coffee, a manga and the mound of paperwork I had to do.

I could have easily just listed many a song which I love to listen too, but Ill have to say Jesus Christ by Brand New. A song about someones religious beliefs, whos bright is too slight to hold back all my dark, and questions what happens at the end of his life. I also love the lyrics to the song too, especially this part:

I know youre coming in the night like a thief,
But I ve had some time, O Lord, to hone my lying technique,
I know you think that I m someone you can trust,
But I m scared I ll get scared and I swear I ll try to nail you back up,
So do you think that we could work out a sign,
So I ll know its you and that its over so I wont even try,
I know youre coming for the people like me,
But we all got wood and nails,
And we turn out hate in factories.

Im not a religious person, but this song really hit home the first time I heard it.
