Hey everyone!

I'm bothering you this time with news of the new Kingdom Hearts game, which is due out in the UK around may, this year. ;)

Basically, if you haven't played Kingdom Hearts, then watch this trailer:

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/japanese-opening-kingdom-hearts/60840

Please make sure that you don't read the comments on the page! I made the mistake in doing so, and read a few spoilers which people have typed up, due to obtaining the game early from Japan (it's already out over there).

You may think it doesn't interest you, as it has Final Fantasy styled characters (as well as main final fantasy characters), alongside a cast of Disney characters.

Believe me, this put me off at first, and I wasn't too sure about whether I should get it or not.

Anyway, I've played both games to death, and beaten the optional mega hard boss fight with Sephiroth in both of them, and I have to say that if you put time and effort into this game, you won't be disappointed. :D

There's obviously the main storyline which you have to do, but next to that, there are secret endings, hidden items, ultimate weapons, and crazily hard secret bosses.

Plus, it all fuses well together, and offers incredible storylines, and amazingly fun gameplay, which is pretty hard to get tired of!

Anyway, Birth By Sleep is kind of a sequel and a prequel to the main series on the PS2, and this time around it's on the psp, but even so, looks ever so stunning. Square have done a really good job at pushing the psp to its max with this one, and have possibly squeezed out everything it has to offer.

Personally, this is my number one game to look out for (possibly even higher than God of War 3, if not on par with it). I'm a pretty huge fan of the series, and I hope other people who haven't heard of it or played it before, can get into it and enjoy it, after reading this and watching the intro song with clips.

The clips are naturally going to be out of context, so don't worry about spoilers, but argh, I love the song! It's so good. The electro beats are what do it for me. :D

Closest thing you'll find to the official site/forums, with all of the latest KH news around:

Thoughts and opinions guys!

Sorry man, it's PSP only. It's the equivalent of Final Fantasy: Dissidia - A handheld game, with no plans of it coming to consoles.

Seeing as the first two were on PS2, and this is on the PSP, it makes sense for KH3 to come out on PS3, so it's doubtful.

Sorry man, but hey, 360 stole Final Fantasy XIII as it's now multi-platform, so you at least have that to look forward to. :)

I find it a bit difficult to get excited about Kingdom Hearts these days due to the retconning and endless teenage angst that has become a staple for every Nomura project. I may pick up Birth By Sleep when it drops in price, yet I was rather disappointed with how KH2 turned out after such a brilliant start(Twilight Town).

woo! I cant wait for this! Ive been playing the DS game recently and I want a proper console version because as good as handhelds are, theyre a bit limited. Bring on KH3!

Yea, may can't come soon enough!

No idea when KH3 is out though, as there's not any footage of it or anything. It's annoying with Birth By Sleep though, as some moron posted a huge spoiler below that video, on that link (where I said not to look), and it's kind of ruined things a lot for me. It was about who a certain someone actually is, but hey, there's always one who has to ruin it for the rest. :(

Dead - That's true, but I find them brilliant games regardless. Final Fantasy Versus XIII looks the best game to come out though, and that's actually based on an advanced Kingdom Hearts engine, and supposedly has blood and everything.

Nomura said something about it being his own version of a much darker and more adult Final Fantasy universe. It has a lot of Shakespearean quotes throughout the trailers.
