If you were given the chance to create a personalised weapons list for a new game, what weapons would you choose. Allow yourself a basic weapon and an advanced weapon or more if you feel like it or less. :mexwave:

My dream weapons list:

Starting Handgun: H&K USP Match (Half Life 2)
Advanced Handgun : Red 9 with Stock (Resident Evil 4)

Starting Rifle: FG-42 German Paratrooper Rifle (Return to Castle Wolfenstein XBox)
Advanced Rifle: Lincoln's Repeater (Fallout 3)

Only Machinegun: Chicago Typewriter (Resident Evil 4)

Only Shotgun: The Striker (Resident Evil 4)

Only Magnum: Smith & Wesson M629 (Resident Evil 3)

Only Rocket Launcher: Rocket Launcher (Doom PS1)

Only Grenade Launcher: Grenade Launcher (Resident Evil 5)

Only Plasma Rifle: Plasma Rifle (Doom PS1)

Only BFG: BFG 9000 (Doom PS1)

Only Laser Rifle: Waser Wifle (Fallout 3)

Only Alien Weapon: Alien Blaster (Fallout 3)

Only Sniper: Semi-Automatic Rifle (Resident Evil 4)

Only Mine Thrower: Umbrella Corp Mine Thrower (Resident Evil 3)

Starting Melee Weapon: Rusty Axe (Silent Hill 4)
Advanced Melee Weapon: Chainsaw (Doom 3)

So what would your weapons list be?????

Heres my Top 5 Fav R.E. Handguns as well:

1. Red 9 with stock (RE4)
2. Custom Handgun with stock H&K VP 70 (RE2)
3. Sig P226 (RE5)
4. STI Eagle 6.0 (RE3)
5. M93R with stock (RE5)

favorite missile launcher: RHINO (ratchet and clank)

favorite real gun: L. Hawk (resident evil 5)

I love those Nail-gun things. The type that pin the Ragdolls to a wall! There was on in F.E.A.R. and another in Painkiller. I think that you could do it with the Crossbows in Half-Life 2 as well.

Yeah, you could do that with crossbow in hl2.

But the clear winner is the nail gun from killzone 2, its massive and 1 hit instant kill :)

And as for the starting melee weapon, crowbar from HL series, its so... rad :D

I'd just be happy with a .50cal Sniper Rifle. I could kill anything with one of those!

I don't really like games with more than two of each kind of weapon(excluding Borderlands).

I'll post my list later as this minute isn't too convenient.

The cross-bow in HL2 was a sick weapon even at distance, if you could judge your aim you can pin that Combine to the BillBoard. Haven't played KillZone(s) on the PS3 (ain't got one) but it would be one of the games I'd want in my collection. My mate in Watford loved the crowbar in HL1&2.

Hl1 cross-bow is far better than the one in the second installment cause the projectile is almost instant while in hl2, the projectile flyies trough the air slowly.

I remember when i was a kid, i played hl1 in a game room(there were 4 computers)and we played deathmatch in crossfire all the time and everytime i managed to sneak up to someone from behind, i selected the crowbar and yelled: crowbar maaan! while hitting them with it :D. Ah, gold times, i was insane in hl1 deathmatch, like a machine :D

Acctualy, i think hl1 was my first FPS is ever played... maybe thats why im such a huge HL and valve fan :)

I liked the microwave gun from soldier of fortune, exploding baddies ftw!

The weapon I'd really like to see would be a bazooka that fires boxing gloves, POW!! Right in the kisser!!

Yeah, that was such an awesome weapon and it reminds of tazer from syphon filter, i enjoyed changing bad guy´s race from white to black :D

Twister's Yoyo from Micro Maniacs is all I'd ever need. That thing could decapitate people from medium range.
