View Full Version : Competition - Win A Day Out At Silverstone!
Morning All,
We have a great opportunity for two lucky winners of this MotoGP competition.
On the 27th of January we are holding a MotoGP press event @ Silverstone race course, giving you early access to play the game. You'll then get a taste of real thing with pillion rides from the California Superbike School around the Stowe Circuit.
To finish off the day we're also giving an exclusive tour of the newly built section of track - ready for the 2010 season.
To prove your love for MotoGP PM me a short paragraph detailing why we should invite you along and the answer to the following question:
How many engines will be allowed, per rider, during the 2010 MotoGP season?
Don’t post the answer in this thread – PM to me only!
(I will select 2 winners on the 20th of January || Entrants must be over 18 || Entrants must also hold a full UK driving &/Or Biking licence)
Good Luck. :)

Doh, I only have a provisional for my car, which I can't afford lessons for! Would have loved to ride a big bike, haha. Good luck guys!
Kinda hard to get a winner for this...
1. you have to get to england in less then 7 days or something.
2. you have to be 18.
3. you need a car/bike driving license thats fully English, England is really a lovely country, but England isn't the only country on the world...
Don't get me wrong, but actually this competition is only for people who live in the UK.
So no chance for people in other countries
If I am wrong, please correct me.

i might be wrong, but if you get the driving license in Europe, it is good in every European Country (UK included)
a question for UK drivers: are pedals inverted in UK cars?
i mean, i'm used to drive with the gas pedal on the right, break pedal in the middle and the transmission clutch on the left (yeah, i don't like automatic change gears, i do prefer manual ones :D)
PS: i'm pretty sure i made huge mistakes, but this is the first time i look for the English name of car's parts...i really hope you understood everything! sorry! :o
Well, even though I'm only 15, I'm growing up, I'm getting to know about things, and I know I am not allowed to drive a car or ride a motorcycle yet but, I hope it then that people in whole Europe which have a license that its also allowed for the UK, but I dont have the full 100% trust in it
Tut tut, guys, always ready to jump and complain :chin:
This is a UK event organised by Capcom UK, other local offices will be organising other events. Unfortunately we don't have offices in every single country yet but we try our best.
@Alien - the pedals and gears are all in the same place :)

I thought that, too. :(
You don't have to host lovely competitions like this for people, so it's a bit much with the complaining really.
I'd have loved to have done it. It's something I plan to do at some point in my life (drive on a test track that is....closest one to me is Brand's Hatch), but sadly I haven't been able to afford driving lessons.
I really do hope we get a few more entries for this, as it's a fantastic opportunity to anyone who get's to go.
I'm just bummed I can't, but it's safe to say that you and Capcom have given me a lot Ten, so I hope someone who has their heart set on this, get's to go!
I won't want to see the pictures, as I'd be even more gutted though. :p
That's for driving mind....I can drive, just not legally. :p
My friend took me out once, in his mum's 1.6 golf, and gave me a 20 second tutorial on how the clutch works, and then said drive (no jokes!). Anyway, I didn't stall it, and drove it fine....it was just the stopping where it stalled, as I knew the brakes would be sensitive, but not that sensitive!
He has a habit of taking his hands off the wheel when driving down the road, as he knows I'll steer it perfectly fine for him, down the road. :p
It's naughty really, but hey, gives me experience in some ways.
My poor little polo is rotting outside. :(
Wowo, that's a great prize, MotoGP fans must be .
@Bobafet: I think you already won a lot of prizes in CE, so why are you complaining about this particular one? The percentage of contests UK only in the forum is quite small (maybe this is the first one).
Just a quick reminder guys - make sure you submit your answer via PM to me by the 20th of January.
Good Luck.
