Rumour has it that you guys are planning to release a demo of 09/10, possibly some time in February, can you confirm or deny? And if this is the case can you speculate on what it may include?

Can you confirm the demo will come out before the game? I mean, im getting the game wether it sucks or not, (Think it will be good though) Mostly because I want to drive Pedrosa around the track 10000 times (Pedrosa fan) and, all my friends on Xbox LIVE are getting it.

p.s please dont give us Indy as the demo track, in an ideal world you'd give us either Mugello or Luguna with access to 1 bike from all 3 classes - but then agian, its not an ideal world ;)

From what i played yesterday that video seems to be about bang on, apart from I played Mugello.
Seemed good but its certainly not a Simulation.
Takes some getting used to but i reckon it should be good. Certainly much, much better than the GP 08 carnation of the game.:)
I thought they would use realistic sounds for this game...
1. They arent, because I listened and watched 1 lap with a Yamaha and 1 with a Honda (Rossi and Pedrosa) and they both sounded like a lawnmower, exactly the same as each other.
2. Yamaha has a big bang line engine, which doesnt make the same sound as the V engine.
3. Or they must be taking records of the sound at the IRTA test and then be able to put it in the game before the game releases. (I dont know when the IRTA test is, but they probably wont before the release of the actual game)

They probably wont go to the IRTA tests at all Nigel. They do sound much better than the tin can buzz of last year but they are by no means realistic.
They have sampled the Moto 2 bikes so it may be this what you are referring to.

I do remember monumental saying quite early on that there would be 2 pivot points to choose from, any one know if this is still the case?

They said the demo comes a month before the release, but there's still not a demo. Is there anybody who knows a date???
We haven't announced a demo release date yet - however it'll be before the 19th of March (when the game launches)

Hi Steve, I have a question regarding the DLC (Thought I'd ask the question in this thread rather than open up a brand new thread just to find out the answer to one question, so hopefully you find it, but anyways) -
Will the new Inmotec GPI 10 bike be available in the DLC? Its only scheduled to make a handful of appearances during the 2010 season so I figured that you guys may not bother, but its always nice to get your hands (or fingers as it is) on a new piece of machinery so hopefully you do!

It certainly won’t be in the 1st DLC as the bike is due to debut in Catalunya on July 4th…long after our bike creation deadline!
We always try and include everything that we possibly can…but this bike just might be too elusive.
It’s a case of ‘watch this space’ I’m afraid.

I think monumental only have themselves to blame for the constant pestering regarding the demo release date -
"Capcom announced late last week that they will be bringing a demo for MotoGP 09/10 to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 a month before launch. The demo will feature the Mugello track and three bike classes and allow you to compete in Championship, Time Trial or Arcade modes."
The game is out 3 weeks today!

Please also try to remember that they cant just put it up on the XBOX dashboard when they want. Microsoft has to do it for them. (Most likely, I think) And we all know how bad Microsoft support is.
