Anybody got any plans?
I think mine will be pretty quiet again, unless I think of something quickly. No Donna unfortunately.
Meh, mine can't be worse then the end of 2008.
I was suffering from heartbreak that time, and went to bed at 10. ^_^'
I'll be spending Old&New in Holland with some friends. Not the rough, partying, drinking crowd, but I'll manage ;D
Heartbreak at New Year is THE WORST THING EVER.
I think New year needs to be a careful balance between not expecting too much, but also doing some kind of planning.
Partying with friends. And being the usual mixed crowd of Capcom (just me), Codies and Bethesda no talking about work allowed :D But we usually end up playing games in the morning...
Me and Nat plan on staying in this New Years Eve and inviting friends and family around for a party.
After last years New Years Eve celebrations out on the town, ie fighting, extortinate taxi fares, cold weather, etc, i'm pleased to be celebrating the New Year at home.

Nice. I like the amaretto. Actually, I'm a big fan of Baileys.
I'm not sure whether to pick up some champagne tomorrow. If there's any left...
The big bonus for me, is that I live about 5 minutes from the centre, so if I get tired/bored I just walk it.

Aye, I picked up Disaronno for a tenner and got some Strongbow as well as backup. The likelihood however, is that I'll have to go to the shop again as there is no way on earth this will last me the duration of the party. Must. Spend. Moaaaaaaaar.

tomorrow i'll go with my new girlfirend, my best friend and other 3 people out at dinner, then we'll see the fireworks in city (i don't really know where, but the show should be great)
and i won't drink anything because i'll drive my friend and me at home...so super-sober-new year! :D

i never tried Irn Bru, and to be honest, this is the first time i even hear of it! :blink:
i'll try it when i'll be in UK! [i just googled it and it isn't available in Italy...just like the Mint Cornetto! oh i hate living here!:flamesangry:]

i'll be at a party with a few friends, and most likely for some reason play poker with potato chips. :giggle:
I love the potato chips option. We've been talking about setting up regular poker nights and that sounds like an awesome idea for chips :D

Quit smoking? :P Definitely something I'm going to cut down on severely. Gone to the point where I don't buy any while I'm out and about. :]
Oh, and hopefully sort myself and be comfortable by the end of January, in preparation for a year that I hope is even more awesome than this one.

my resolutions? finish high school with the higher mark (100/100 FTW) and grow some muscles on my upper body, so i'll look less geek :D
You're already very handsome as you are, Alien. If you weren't so far from her town and you both weren't already taken, I'd most certainly introduce you to my niece ;)
Martial arts are perfect for growing good strong muscles :)

anyway, i was thinking about taking some Karate lessons (even because Karate is cool! :D) but i'm afraid i'll start when i'll finish high school

I'm still working that one out. I was invited to a party which I'm not gonna go to, as I've been to the same one for three years.
I wanted to go to a nightbar as they're having a uv and glow stick night, with free entry to the indie nightclub.
Going for a shower now, then meeting people, and heading over.

Im goin to get wasted in a hour, then im meetin friends at 11 or 12pm and we´ll go to a disco or bar, drinkin more and more til we fall asleep lol. Have fun everyone, dont wake up in jail or wherever :D
I'm a bit of a prude really as I don't celebrate the new year too much. So I stayed in with my boyfriend and watched deep space nine, had a few drinks, played a few games, generally how I celebrate it, except usually I do it with my sister.
Ooo and I plan to learn to drive in the new year, as I've put it off for way too long :)

How did last night go for everyone? Although I expect most of you to still be nursing the hangovers and whatnot in bed. :P
Last night was insane in every sense of the word. Only way to describe it. SOOO GOOOOOOOOOOD.
mine was alright, I went to a party that happened to go on a bit later than I thought, but I left just after midnight. Most of my friends stayed up super-late though and got totally bombed!
So it was a pity they were in no state to attend the awesome NYD lock-in at our local yesterday :D the 360 was hooked up to the projector, and we rocked out and played some trials HD then I went home with Marcus and played Burnout Paradise and castle crashers!
My new years resolution? Be more lucky.
