I have no problems with exagerated animations, after all - Its a game - but I do draw the line at double front somersaults in the forward pike position! That looks absolutely shocking!!

Now I'm hoping you will tell me that this is just an old video of an early build version of the game and things have been toned down since then? I mean come on guys - Ive seen space ships at lower altitudes!

Nice find from your mate, i;m hoping too that its an early version but considering its being played by people on a 360 stand then i reckon it cant be THAT early.

Seriously though Monumental, i too hope this isnt the shape of things to come. The only crash i've seen close to that is Lorenzo's exit from the 2008 Chinese GP.
I understand the physics and that the speeds crashed at during a game do not represent real life speed crashes but they are way over the top.
Even the slower speed crash in the video produced an altitude that would normally only be seen by Travis Pastrana etc.

I also noticed that the entire crash animation takes upto 7 seconds to complete until your ready to ride again, so by the time you've got yourself back up to speed your staring down the sharp end of a 10 second penalty - thats a huge punishment and basically spells the end of the race.

I do however like the crash animation at 1:19 to 1:21 up untill the point where it cuts back to the rider free falling from outer space!

i cant see this game being as good as moto gp 08, to me moto gp 08 was probably the best moto gp game iv played. the new game seems to be similar to moto gp 07

i can't agree with that, i think motogp 08 so arcade, but in motogp 08 looks great in dashboard (game menu), felt so official, how the grid, the statistic. etc, looks like we've seen on the tv show, but in motogp 07, its really have an awsome gameplay, but terrible in the dashboard, its not quite felt so official yet..

If Capcom have combined the game play and depth of '07 with the graphics of '08 - then there'll be onto a winner!
