FIX for MOTO GP 08 black screen at loading

If you use another media player other than WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER on your pc ( for example VLC) and have movie filetypes associated with that other player, it prevents MOTO GP 08 from playing the intro videos at game start. This results in a CTD.

To rectify this, find an avi, mpg or wmv movie.....right-click it and choose properties. At the top of the properties box which appears make sure your on the GENERAL TAB and change the application the file opens with to WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER.

This should solve any issues with game startup.

I get the game to run by disabling sound. I have tried your suggestion but for me it still isnt working. It is definitely a sound issue though. Any other ideas?
